This is a nice donut and breakfast shop. Skip the fast food choices and come here. Convenient to Hwy 60 (Versailles Bypass) it is attached to Ace Hardware building. Corner of North and Main.

Stopped by Best Donut this morning on our way to a bourbon tasting. I have to say it was a simple but very delicious breakfast. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit and glazed donut were both some of the best I’ve tasted. My wife had a croissant and lemon filled and didn’t speak the whole time, just made mmmm sounds.
As we sat and ate, a stream of customers came in and out.
If you’re in the area on the bourbon trail, just passing through or lived here your whole life, I strongly recommend stopping by.

My family’s favorite doughnut shop by far! We haven’t been anywhere else ever since they came to town. Fantastic service every time, and the doughnuts are SO delicious. The plain glazed ones are my favorite—they practically melt in your mouth!
I just picked up an order of two dozen today only to find that they secretly tossed in several extra doughnuts. Totally made my whole day! Can’t recommend them enough. ❤️

Honestly, the title says it all. It’s true. This is the best donut for miles and miles, maybe all of Lexington area. And don’t leave without a breakfast sandwich. The ham, egg, and cheese biscuit was dynamite, flaky and well put together.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Best Donut that I felt I had to leave a review. From start to finish, their service was above and beyond. The doughnuts were hot and fresh, literally still being made as I picked them up. The team was so thoughtful, even helping carry the boxes to my car and making sure everything was set before I left.
They provided 200 delicious doughnuts for an all-day training event for healthcare professionals, and those doughnuts were a huge hit! Everyone raved about how good they were. The quality, care, and customer service were outstanding.

Donuts were great but what stands out is the exceptional customer service. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Had a large order for a work function and the owners made sure I was comfortable while I waited and helped carry my order out to my vehicle in 9 degree weather.
