Looked up bakery near me, and this was listed. I was looking for a new experience and found Best Buns Bakery & Burgers. Overall, everything was a pleasant surprise. The customer service, food, and pleasant atmosphere was a 10 out of 10. I have already recommended this bakery to my friends. You can not go wrong if you want to experience great food.

Talk about a chocolate cupcake! Absolutely delightful. One of the many favorites there. The carrot cake is delicious!
The atmosphere is wonderful, giving vibes of French bakery meets buzzing corner cafe! Staff is polite and professional, taking special care to package each order beautifully. Breakfast, brunch, lunch items and more. Cozy spot great for picking up or take-out not alot seating.

Food and pastries are pretty good. The coffee is too much for nothing special. Service is friendly and quick. The prices are higher than the average and I’m not sure the quality of food or atmosphere justify that higher price. Limited street parking out front, and no seating inside. Stop in if it’s convenient, but don’t go out of your way, there are plenty of other great bakeries around.

I spoke with the manager about an employee that was very rude to me on Monday, March 2nd. I do not know this employee’s name but she looks like one of the oldest cashiers that work in the morning at the Best Buns in Shirlington, VA location. I was picking up my phone order and instead of guiding me to the pick up area, she sucked her teeth and yelled at me aggressively in front of a room full of costumers telling me to go over there. When I met her on the other side of the of the counter, I was embarrassed around the other customers wondering why did I get this type of treatment. When I received my food, I told her that I do not appreciate her disrespect and please do not yell at me again. She simply ignored me with no response and just stared at me. I then asked to speak with the manager and to my surprise, she said she was the manager. I have been a loyal customer for years and Carlyle is where me and my fiancé had our first date. I am glad that I met Jeremy, the manager. I am determined to give feedback in various ways until this issue is resolved.

Love the setup in the restaurant. Wait time was a little long, but definitely worth the wait. The croissant was flaky, soft and buttery I might add. The bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection.

Nothing but great things about this place. They have a wide variety of sweet treats and bread options, I’ve even gone at night/later in the day and they still had some availability. The loaves are affordable and taste great. The cinnamon bun is the best I’ve ever had.

Lively breakfast spot! My friend recommended and did not disappoint. Staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. Bagels with ham, egg and cheese was tasty. I enjoyed the coffee!

This is the best place for morning coffee or a quick afternoon salad or sandwich.
They are always made fresh everyday.
You can get fresh made to order breakfast sandwiches. Cookies, fresh homemade bread!
A whole bunch of pastries!
The people that work here are always nice as well!
If I have the time i make it a morning stop, parking is not too difficult and Saturday is the only super busy day!
So come early if your coming Saturday!
You can also eat Nextdoor or outside!
They extended breakfast sandwiches until 1130 am but finding a place to set may be an issue!
The street parking is mostly gone and you need to park in the garage behind it.
It’s a good place though most of the time.

Truly some of the best buns as they supply bread to so many different restaurants around the area. Even from outside, one can smell the bread being baked and we couldn’t help but go outside.
Later in the day, one’s options are more limited, but they still had a great selection. The staff were incredibly kind and helped provide suggestions on what to get.
I opted for a whole loaf of monkey bread and it was sublime, but next time I’ll be trying one of their massive cupcakes!

I bought a “king cake” for Mardi Gras from the bakery and I was severely disappointed. It tasted noting like a traditional king cake. The cake it self was ok but I would call it like a pound cake or something. There was no cinnamon in the layers and it was too heavy. Totally wrong flavor, texture, and style than a Louisiana king cake. Overall the dessert was just not what was advertised/expected. I’m not sure how to describe it correctly other than saying that the cake was just wrong.
