Really lovely, crunchy, bagette! I had the Parisian sandwich which was exactly what I wanted. Ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Mayo, which is much more elaborate than a traditional Parisian sandwich, which is ham and butter.

It pains me to write this because we’ve been fans of Best Baguette in Beaverton, but our visit on Friday, September 12 was very disappointing. We ordered a few sandwiches around 7:30pm including the Avocado Delight, and asked that the avocado be fresh/green (since it’s sometimes brown). A young female employee standing by the cashier laughed at us while looking at us up and down and making snarky faces instead of taking our request seriously. When the cashier asked if we wanted anything else, we decided to add drinks, and once again, the same employee standing next to the cashier had a laughing fit, making faces and even covering her face behind a sign …very condescending. She made us feel mocked simply for ordering food as she was extremely unprofessional. And guess what? To make things worse, the avocado we received was exactly what we had asked to avoid. As far as the avocado situation goes, we understand mistakes happen but disrespect and rudeness should not be part of the experience at Best Baguette. To say we were surprised by the negative experience is an understatement. Judging by other recent reviews, we’re not the only ones who’ve had issues with this employee. She is a ‘bad seed’. Please address this or otherwise loyal customers will stop coming back and new customers are simply never go back to your place again.

Great food and drinks but I would like to point out that the last month or more they have not had an ice maker for their boba teas. They temporarily switched to an ice nugget maker and if you’re familiar with the old fashioned movie theater business, you use crushed ice to limit the amount of drink you actually give the customer. I’m quite annoyed by this as I definitely see how I don’t get as much drink and I can’t get to the boba in my drink. I’ve been back half a dozen times in the last month and they still haven’t fixed their regular ice machine. Please fix this ASAP

Great sandwiches and drinks. Really unique food. The vibes here are great too. Love the decoration. Staff is friendly and patient which is good cause there are lots of options to weight through and it takes some time. I love the grilled chicken especially.

As a visitor from the Bay Area I tried three other places in the Portland area and found this place before leaving. Personally I prefer to go here for bahn mi. The prices remind me when these sandwiches were these prices back ten years ago and the size is decent too for the price. Next time I’m in the area again, I will only go here if I want bahn mi.

Best Bahn Mi sandwich! Went to Beaverton site (much bigger and nicer than original SE location). The freshest bread and the pickled veggies plus a variety of proteins to choose from. A great alternative to the humdrum hamburger. Definitely Recommend.

Best Baguette is one of my favorite treats for myself! Their coffee is amazing! So strong and so sweet. When I’m craving a Vietnamese coffee this is for sure where I go! I always pick up a bahn mi as well (I love the teriyaki chicken). The food is well priced as well. Hits the craving for sure!

It’s still my favorite place for curry chicken and rice. It has more of the southeast Asian spice mix in their curry. It is mild, which is perfect for people like myself who want curry but cannot handle the heat. My husband loves their avocado baguette with durian smoothie. This place bakes their own bread, fresh off the oven!
