Everyone says it, but it needs to be said again anyways. The bagel sandwiches are huge. I say this as a large man. Share! They are loaded with delicious goodness and overflowing with cream cheese. There isn’t a lot of space inside so on a weekend I wouldn’t expect a table because there’s only maybe 8 of them. Food was piping hot and fresh, and DELICIOUS! This is THE bagel spot I’d recommend to anyone visiting Manhattan. It’s not too far from everything but somehow just far enough away for some quiet.

Absolutely amazing little bagel shop. The bacon was crispy. The bagels were literally perfect. Staff was even nice. This is what you look for when you’re looking for a good bagel in the morning. Not a lot of place to sit, but there is some I would choose this place over the four or five other places with him 100 feet of it.

I hate bagels but wanted to try a good NY bagel. Sunday at 10am had a line that moved quick. Ordered in a few minutes- I didn’t have time to review the entire menu. Then waited about 5-7mins and my number was called.
Wife enjoyed her Everything w/Cream Cheese. I ate half a toasted Plain Sausage, Egg n Cheese and had a bite outta a plain cream cheese. Not for me. But service and quality was good and everyone else was enjoying it.

Was planning to go to Liberty Bagels but went here instead because the line was too long. There was a line, but we ordered and got our food in about ten minutes. This was THE BEST bagel I’ve ever had. I got a BEC with the honey siracha cream cheese and my brother got the Hungry Stack. Both were SO GOOD, the bagel was hot and fresh and everything tasted delicious. I’m so glad we went here instead 10/10 would recommend!!

When you come to New York, this is a great place for bagels! The ordering process is as smooth as the numerous amounts of differently style cream cheese they offer.
Our only issue we encountered was mainly with the online ordering system. It did not allow for us to make any modifications to our orders prior to purchasing. Upon arrival, we ordered food to eat in house while we were picking our online orders up. We asked about modifications seeing as how the system did not allow for it. They said they couldn’t change the bagel choices once they were bagged. Furthermore, we asked that our bagels not be sliced in half. The entire dozen were sliced in half.
This was our first impression of Best Bagels and while the system may not be perfect, it’s definitely somewhere we’d come back to. And you should too!

Best Bagel is one of most famous store among Koreans. However, when I enter the store, crowded with people from all over the world The female staff who got my order was kind but looks exhausted bout work I do understand her right away cause customers never stopped after me. Every staffs were friendly in general. My order was Everything bagel+smoked salmon+plain creme cheese which one is the Best Highly recommended it!

I always heard that NY bagels are a must try and that they are the best. Last time I was in NY, I left disappointed w/ the bagel places we tried. Well Best Bagel changed my opinion. I ordered a plain toasted w/ sundried tomato spread and a plain reuben. The reuben wasn’t bad and I really liked the sundried spread, but the hit was the bagel. This is what I expected from the hype about NY bagels. I think this is what people were talking about. For me it was the consistency of the bagel, not to airy or doughy. It was the right consistency without having to work to enjoy an almost perfect bagel.

Very busy Bagel shop, but efficient line up and made quickly. Ordered their lox bagel, and took only 5 minutes to get it despite being busy. Shockingly the thing had to have weighed 2lbs. Tons of lox, cream cheese and a nice soft bagel. Delicious! Minimal places to sit but that’s to be expected.

Rather than get a bagel sandwich, I opted for just a single everything bagel with lox cream cheese spread in the middle – and this turned out to be really good
The bagel, the main part of the meal, was just fantastic. It’s one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. It’s so fluffy, so easy to tear apart (even though I didn’t have to in this case), and just so enjoyable to consume. It provides just enough resistance on the outside without being chewy. I loved the balance between the softness of the inside vs the solid nature of the outside, and it passed the knock test very well
The lox cream cheese spread was also quite good. It was very creamy, and had a great thickness to it. The lox aspect of it wasn’t very prevalent, so it was a little more on the side of plain cream cheese, but still liked it overall
At just over $7, there isn’t much in here outside of the bagel, but it honestly is still pretty filling since the bagel is quite large
Overall, this bagel is a perfect example of what a great New York bagel should be like. 8.75/10

The jalapeño cheddar bagel with wasabi cream cheese was outstanding. The cheddar is subtle, but the wasabi really shines with a clean kick and an amazing aftertaste. Perfect for a quick grab and go.
