We had an amazing experience here. The vibe is awesome. The drinks & food were spectacular. We didn’t have a reservation, but walked in & sat at the hightop tables in the bar area. The bartender came right up to us and was so friendly. The entire staff works as a team & was all so kind & friendly! We can’t wait to come back.

The theme here is Tapas which allow you to share several of their dishes with your table mates.
We enjoyed the ham and cheese toast and a variety of olives to start. Next came the Patatas Bravas, eat while hot if you can as pan fried potatoes lose texture when the cool down, but the sauce they are fried in makes it worth it!
We had two of their specialties, the peppers stuffed with pork and chorizo and the most surprising was the artichokes! Wow!
To much food for the two of us, but leave room for the Churros and Hot Chocolate for dessert!
Fair price for an incredibly tasty dinner. Service was excellent and the cocktails were yummy! The Sangria was perfecto!

Im not easily impressed and this place did it. Impressive combination of great food, amazing service and nice atmosphere.
We had the fixed menu for 12 of us celebrating a friends birthday. Dish after dish were excellent with the patella ad the crown jewel. We had both a seafood patella and veg.
We will be back again and again.

I was really impressed with this restaurant. Great vibe Food was excellent. The portions were really big for a place known for “small plates.” The service was excellent. Had a really good meal, for a reasonable price. One of my favorite restaurants I’ve found in Sarasota

The atmosphere was perfect — no wait line, excellent service, cleanliness, and quick attention. It’s a spectacular spot for a date or to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends. They even have a private room if you want to celebrate a bachelorette party or any special event.
We tried several dishes: Spanish grilled cheese, croquetas, picanha, pan con tomate, and the Pa Amb Oli — all exquisite! Every plate was delicious, except for the Basque cheesecake, which was a bit dry that day. However, the flan looked delicious
Overall, I highly recommend this place for its ambiance, flavors, and great service. ✨

For our one night in Sarasota, we wanted “upscale,” we wanted “unique,” and we wanted to feel fancier than we actually are. Boom. Beso. It’s a Spanish tapas joint just a stone’s throw from Main Street. They had zero reservations available—usually a sign that you’re about to eat a granola bar in your hotel room—but we decided to roll the dice. The Dining Gods looked down, saw our hunger, and manifested two high-top seats in the bar area just for us.
The Legend of Michael
At first, I panicked. No waiter in sight. I thought I might have to go into the kitchen and fry my own croquettes. Then… Michael appeared.
This man didn’t just know the menu; he lived it. He spoke about the wines and the tapas with the kind of authority most people reserve for their own children’s birthdays. I’m convinced Michael studied the “Tempranillo vs. Malbec” unit in 3rd grade instead of long division. He blew it out of the water.
The Food & The Mood
The Wine: Flowing like water.
The Tapas: Fantastic. My tastebuds think we moved to Madrid.
The Service: 10/10.
The only tiny critique: The music was a bit of a buzzkill. It was low-volume and had zero “Spanish Flair.” I was ready for some aggressive flamenco guitar to pair with my chorizo, but the playlist was giving me “Elevator at a Dental Office.”
The Verdict
Would I recommend it? Si! Go for the food, stay for the vibe, and pray to the restaurant deities that you snag Michael as your server. He’s the real MVP.

BESO is a total win. We ordered the Picanha, Gambas Ajillo, and Escalivada Catalana. They were served one after the other so we could share. Each was amazing in their own way. Our server, Andy, was gracious and very helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We highly recommend BESO.

Lovely dining experience at Beso with great tapas and nice atmosphere. Each dish came out swiftly and the paella (which you should order right away due to prep and cook time) was delicious. The picanha steak was our favorite tapas dish. Solid spread of dishes but not overwhelming with too many options.
