Tbh the chips and salsa was so good, i didnt think i needed anything else on the menu haha. but we ended up getting Besito bowl, lots of green and was served with rice and beans on the side. The quantity is insane like you can legit have 2 people share the bowl and they’ll be very full. I also got watermelon mojito, that was decent, nothing extraordinary.

Ambiance (5/5): There was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating during peak hours on a Saturday evening. The space is large and there were regular tables and we sat in a comfy large booth for our party of 5. The music and background noise was not too loud that we heard each other with no problems.
Service (5/5): We were serviced quickly and often. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Guac (4/5): The single portion seemed like plenty for us to enjoy and we had a free refill of the chips as well. The guac was pretty standard. It was not mixed in front of us.
Spare Ribs (5/5): The flavors were on point and the meat fell off the bone! The sauce was a little spicy and finger-licking-good! Watermelon was a nice touch.
Enchilada Mixta (5/5): I also very much enjoyed this!
Halibut (N/A): Tasted healthy but seasoned through. The meat was a little on the dry side.
Steak (5/5): Super tender with all the flavors absorbed in.
Corn (3/5): Nothing to write home about for the elote.

Besito in Roslyn is unique. My husband and I stopped by on Sunday August 17, 2025 as we were staying overnight in the area. This seemed like a good option based on reviews.
The shopping strip itself is rather odd and the restaurant is confusing, when we walked in there was no direct spot to be greeted but as we walked past the bar we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and courteous, she recommended the specials but we opted for other items.
Our drinks and food were great, the portions are generous and the overall experience was great. Towards the end of our meal we felt like we waited a while for the bill, even after skipping dessert. I checked out restroom and it wasn’t as nice as I would expect. Upon getting our bill we also received little dolls as gifts and were instructed to put them under our pillows for a goid night sleep…this was also unique.
Overall great food and glad we tried it.

Excellent place for lunch…the blood orange margarita was DELIGHTFUL
The food was decent overall. The street corn side is somewhat boring and the fish tacos quickly got soggy, but the flavors were on-point.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Nice people and staff. Food is mid. It’s like Mexican food you can buy off a food truck. Nothing special. Prices are high and not worth it. Guacamole had not salt and no flavor. Appetizer were the best part of the meal. Expected a better grade of food

Came here for my birthday dinner and it was a good pick. Delicious flavorful meals prepared so nicely (espscially our fish dishes). Salads were huge. Drinks were good. Ambiance was nice too. Servers were good kept bringing us salsa without having to ask for it (and it was the best salsa). My only complaint is that that guacamole wasnt big enough even though we ordered a double. I do want to come back and try other items on the menu though because my taste buds were impressed. Good first visit! Thanks besito

My kids and I visited Besito Mexican Restaurant this past weekend, and it was our first time dining there – so we weren’t sure what to expect.
We appreciated the ample parking, with many empty spaces available. We were able to park right across from the restaurant, which was very convenient.
Upon entering, however, we were a bit confused – no one greeted us or approached us right away. We had to wander for a bit until a bartender noticed us and seated us at a table right next to the bar, in the middle of heavy foot traffic where drinks were being mixed. My daughter-in-law politely asked a waiter if we could move to a booth instead. Unfortunately, he told us booths were reserved for parties of four or more (there were just three of us), despite many being visibly available. Thankfully, a bartender named Tatiana came to the rescue – she said we were welcome to take a booth and kindly brought us menus. Her accommodating attitude definitely made a difference in our experience.
For our meal, I ordered the Tacos Hongos served on an iron skillet and a Besito Patrón Margarita, which the waitress recommended in place of the La Paloma (which she said was a bit strong). My kids ordered the Quesabirria and Quesadilla Chicken Parrilla. Before the food arrived, we were served chips and salsa, and later a bowl of fluffy rice and a bowl of beans came as sides.
The wait time for our food was around 20–25 minutes, which was fair, but when the dishes arrived, the portions were quite small, not suitable for sharing. We sampled each other’s meals, and the kids agreed that my taco dish was the most flavorful, although there could have been more tortillas. Their quesadilla and quesabirria were okay, but not particularly memorable.
The atmosphere was pleasant, with comfortable music that didn’t overpower our conversation. The dining layout included tables for two and four, and it looked like larger groups could be accommodated by pushing tables together.
Before we left, a staff member was taking photos of guests, and he kindly offered to take our picture, which was a nice touch.
Overall, I feel that the restaurant is a bit overrated, but Tatiana’s professionalism and attentiveness helped elevate our experience. If you enjoy spicy food, this might be your kind of place. If not, you may want to explore other options.

Firstly I want to say thank you to Jack G for being accommodating to a personal need and making me and my friend feel so welcome. I was born and raised on Long Island but moved about 5 years ago snd now in Tennessee. This was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived here and wanted to share it with my friend from Virginia. It did notttt disappoint and was just as amazing as I remembered it. The guacamole is still the freshest and memorable, queso with unique fresh tortillas and the vegetarian tacos are so incredible with the pumpkin seeds. Jaelynn our server was on top of everything brought tasty margaritas and had our appetizers sent out so quickly. She also was accommodating to a Togo request and didn’t hesitate to ask kitchen for me. Highly recommend her for creating a great experience. Thank you to them and the attentive manager on duty who checked on all tables. Thank you for starting our vacation on the right foot after a 8hour drive and keeping my memory of this restaurant just as enjoyable
