Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was incredibly good — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. The side salad was also really fresh and perfectly complemented the pizza. Great food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere — definitely one of the best pizza spots in Berwyn!
What a great cheesesteak. Perfectly toasted roll with the right amount of cheese (not over doing the cheese like the new trend seems to be these days) and the meat taste great with the roll and especially if you stuff it with their crispy French fries!
If want a great tasting cheesesteak heres the spot to hit!! Next time I’m trying a burger.
She made our experience a delight.
The Cheesesteak was above average and the Italian Hoagie was standard~
They have a nice dining area and the prices are decent for this Inflation Era.
Overall, I give everything a 4.5 Star out of 5. But why the 3 star rating?
As I went to pay, I noticed they charged me an extra 3.5% for using my card.
Now normally, most places that charge a fee for credit card usage have a minimum of $10 to $15, but mine was over $30, then I noticed that at the top of the elevated counter, there was a dark sticker indicating a 3.5% charge for credit card usage. You wouldn’t see it, unless you were looking for it, because most merchants have this sticker on the FRONT of their counter to make it visible to customers.
I also let them know when i entered that it was my first time, so when I paid, they could have alerted me of the surcharge.
I also didn’t expect an extra $2.75 upcharge for a small handful of fries to replace the chips that came with the order.
$40 for a meal for 2 at a pizza shop?
Unless you’re one of the top spots like Angelos or Curly’s, I can’t justify the price.
I recommend coming for the cheesesteak, and bring cash.
It used to be crispy eggplant layered on a roll, and wasn’t soggy or greasy. This sandwich was very mushy and tasted like a tomato sauce hoagie w/ no texture or crispiness.
Idk if there is someone new making the sandwiches there not it used to the best!!
2022 update: still rocking it a Berwyn Pizza!
