Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was incredibly good — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. The side salad was also really fresh and perfectly complemented the pizza. Great food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere — definitely one of the best pizza spots in Berwyn!

I was recommended to go here by an appliance repair customer and wow!
What a great cheesesteak. Perfectly toasted roll with the right amount of cheese (not over doing the cheese like the new trend seems to be these days) and the meat taste great with the roll and especially if you stuff it with their crispy French fries!
If want a great tasting cheesesteak heres the spot to hit!! Next time I’m trying a burger.

Man I wish we lived closer to Berwyn Pizza. We live in West Chester, a bit of a drive, but I was in the area, so for a treat ordered a Berwyn pie, sausage and extra cheese. The extra cheese really was not necessary, however over the years I’ve become accustomed to other pizza shops who skimp on cheese, so it’s a habit. It was just as good as it was when I first got turned on to Berwyn Pizza in the late 90s and I lived in Devon. Their pizza is so good. Even the crust! Highly recommend!

Did not enjoy this pizza at all. Crust is obviously purchased frozen. Pizza quality is below average compared to bowling alley pizza, or Chuck E Cheese. Compared to a legit pizza place that actually makes their own dough, it would be rated dead last. Add to this, the “large” pizza is actually medium sized. I have not tried anything other than pizza here, so maybe their other options are okay. Delivery was fast, and I appreciated the large amount of good quality napkins they included with our order.

Stopped in here recently on our way through town. Decided to try a new place and we are glad we did. We ordered a Chicken parm sandwich and a steak sandwich with fries. Everything was tasty. Definitely a good spot to stop in.

The female employee here is very personable and engaging.
She made our experience a delight.

The Cheesesteak was above average and the Italian Hoagie was standard~

They have a nice dining area and the prices are decent for this Inflation Era.

Overall, I give everything a 4.5 Star out of 5. But why the 3 star rating?

As I went to pay, I noticed they charged me an extra 3.5% for using my card.

Now normally, most places that charge a fee for credit card usage have a minimum of $10 to $15, but mine was over $30, then I noticed that at the top of the elevated counter, there was a dark sticker indicating a 3.5% charge for credit card usage. You wouldn’t see it, unless you were looking for it, because most merchants have this sticker on the FRONT of their counter to make it visible to customers.

I also let them know when i entered that it was my first time, so when I paid, they could have alerted me of the surcharge.

I also didn’t expect an extra $2.75 upcharge for a small handful of fries to replace the chips that came with the order.

$40 for a meal for 2 at a pizza shop?

Unless you’re one of the top spots like Angelos or Curly’s, I can’t justify the price.

I recommend coming for the cheesesteak, and bring cash.

So disappointed they changed how they make the eggplant parm sandwich! ☹️
It used to be crispy eggplant layered on a roll, and wasn’t soggy or greasy. This sandwich was very mushy and tasted like a tomato sauce hoagie w/ no texture or crispiness.
Idk if there is someone new making the sandwiches there not it used to the best!!

I moved here a couple weeks ago & I really hate to say this but this is the worst pizza I’ve had in Philadelphia. It’s expensive cafeteria food. We ordered pizza, fries, mozzarella sticks & wings. The pizza tasted like it came from Chuck E. Cheese. The texture was weird, tomato sauce is canned. The toppings were falling off the sloppy crust. I didn’t think I could be disappointed with pizza. Now I know. Don’t go here. Save your money.

Always the best. Been coming to BP for nearly 40 years. Always make it a point to stop in when I am in area. Amazing consistency in good quality food with a unique taste. A true Berwyn institution.

This place was awesome and I will for sure be back! This is the kind of place I love to eat. The Berwyn fries were recommended and did not disappoint. Great food, huge portions and good price.
