I went to Berta’s Salvadorian Kitchen for breakfast and ordered a traditional Salvadorian breakfast, and honestly, the food was delicious. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The refried beans were really good, the eggs were cooked just right, and the tortillas were warm and fresh. It was a very comforting and satisfying meal.
The service was okay, but it didn’t really stand out. I feel like it could use a little improvement in terms of customer service and attentiveness. Nothing terrible, just not especially memorable.
That being said, the food more than makes up for it. If you’re looking for authentic Salvadorian breakfast with great flavor, this place is definitely worth visiting. I’m giving it five stars because the food was excellent and I’d gladly come back for that alone.

Came to WA for work and stopped here for dinner. I got food poisoning from the Horchata. My sister and I had the same thing (pupusas and empanadas), but she did not have the Horchata, so I am assuming this is what got me sick.
The pupusas are made with Maseca, not fresh corn masa; thus they taste different. The empanadas were pretty bad. They were most likely frozen and fried upon request. The leche in the empanadas tasted like they had been made for some time. Not very fresh food. I can tell they used a lot of processed things.
Each pupusa was $5. Coming from Los Angeles, this seems really expensive, but I guess the labor cost in WA is higher.

The pupusas were AMAZING. It’s a very homey feel, like you’re at a family members house for dinner. The ladies who seated us were really nice, so was our waiter. When I ordered a second pupusa, he let me know that it would be 10+ minutes, because they aren’t made until they’re ordered. It is perfect! Crispy edges, hot and delicious filling, soft dough, and FRESH. Not much beats a hot and fresh, handmade meal. (That’s feels and tastes homemade)

The food was ok who ever said the red tomatoes sauce for pupusas is spicy and they don’t even have a non-spicy sauce for kids, also seems like is a fam. Own place because they really don’t care about the type of service they provide.

Best pupusas I’ve ever had! Absolutely everything I ordered was delicious and the portions were sizable — enough for two meals. I did takeout and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I hadn’t called ahead but they were still able to have my order out to me in less than 15 minutes. Pleasant space to wait in — will definitely be back to dine in.

Come to eat here if you want low quality service. I came ready to eat delicious salvadorean food, However I had one of the worst experiences. Service was slow. After some time they took my order. I ordered a plate of plantains and beans. The beans had a rancid taste and the plantains tasted inedible. The plantains tasted like they were taken out of the freezer and deep fried.
The waitress asked how was the food and I was too honest and gave her my experience. She explained that’s how the beans taste and the plantains are unripe. The waitress also Thought I left without paying. However, I payed in cash.
I will never ever eat here. Food and service is poor.
