Bert & Den’s has the perfect “neighborhood bar” feel. A regular crowd hangs out, not surprisingly. Inexpensive bar-style food and full-flavored drinks. Staff is friendly – we have always been taken care of. Weekly events (bingo, karaoke, etc.), TV screens, pull tabs, and music. Stop by for a chill vibe before seeing a movie, or just a random Thursday!

This is where you go for made from scratch bar food. You got to get the burger for dinner. It’s thick, it’s not frozen, and it’s not smashed on the grill. If you know, you know. My boy on the grill in the evening knows how to cook a burger with the right blend of meat and the right time in the heat. It’s scary, simple yet perfect.
I have been there for lunch, and it unfortunately didn’t live up to the same standards as the evening time burgers, so I had to deduct a star for consistency. That being said, this is my go-to place for affordable made from scratch (for the most part) bar food. I have not tried their breakfast yet, but It looks good from what I have seen.
For the size of the bar, they honestly have a decent selection of beer.
My service has always been pretty quick. The atmosphere for sure seems like it’s for the regulars, but the wait staff has been welcoming each time. If I could get them to keep some bottled waters on hand, i would be back a lot more frequently. I know they don’t have a lot of space to work with but they don’t go bad and the markup on water is better then anything else they sell so I think it would be a good business decision but what do I know. 😉

Came in to get a cup of coffee because we had to wait around for someone, saw that they had a breakfast menu. Affordable price and gravy was great. Coffee took a while to get because they just opened when we came in. Server was really nice and apologetic but she put it in a to-go cup when we were done eating and added more. Above and beyond service. I bet this would be a great hangout to watch a live game and have drinks.

Cheese cubes were great, something tasted off with the pizza maybe the sauce or bacon. Not the best. More of a bar and not a restaurant. Service wasn’t the best as far as refills and paying attention to guests. That’s why I say not really a restaurant, guests at the bar were prioritized. I would go again. Update: I ordered to go and the food was very over priced. Almost $40 for one burger fries and 2 orders of cheese cubes. And the fry’s were absolutely disgusting soggy and many different colors.

We came to see if the food was as good as it has been portrayed as being. However it was crowded so we stayed outside and called to order pick up. The lady who answered the phone that evening told us that we needed to make sure the items we wanted from the menu is available before you order it just to find out it isn’t offered at this point. Anyway when I called back to finalize my order the lady’ said the stuff we wanted to order wasn’t available so my wife asked the lady what is available and the woman said we only have 2 items available this evening! What would of been so bad about maybe having enough cooth about one’s self that she should of automatically let us know the they only had 2 available items on the menu. I was so irritated that we didn’t even order instead we went to steak n shake where we received instant service and only a short wait until our food came out. Thanks Mom n Dad tell Lilly I love her and good luck.

I was just passing through for work. The hometown crowd was very welcoming. The bartender was engaging and attentive. I had a cheese burger and it was awesome. Best I’ve had in awhile. The staff on 8/21 absolutely killed it.
