I was disappointed with Valentines Dinner tonight, the food in the past was excellent! I should have taken note the Help Wanted sign, and the health district score went down to good from excellent.
The brisket was dry and over cooked…..the Mac and cheese was cold and VERY pasty. The greens were also cold….The corn bread appeared to be a few days old….I waited 20 min for the food and $38.00 later…..
The service was great
I only had a 7 min drive home so it wasn’t the distance that made the food cold… If I knew how to post a photo I would have…..

We finally got to try Berry’s barbecue. We ordered online and picked up via their website.
One thing we noticed right off the bat was that our meals were supposed to come with cornbread, but did not. We also noticed that the six dollar side was super tiny, it was the size of the sides that are included in the meals.
The barbecue chicken was outstanding, super succulent and fall off the bone good. The brisket was super dry. That was probably the most disappointing part. It did have good smoke flavor somehow though.
The sides were pretty good. The best was the mac & cheese. The yams are sweet and a bit spicy, like the pumpkin spice type of spicy. The baked beans were OK but the collard greens were overly salty. The potato salad was heavy on the creamy and the pickle.
We would probably try this again as there aren’t a lot of barbecue options in the area.

Best BBQ I’ve had in years—and thankfully close to my house! If you’re looking for a family owned, Southern joint, this is it. The mom and daughter were tag teaming the front and kitchen. Super friendly, upbeat and welcoming. The place itself had plenty of street parking in front, but also a side parking lot. Inside the restaurant there are a few high top tables, however, it seems like take out or pick up is most popular.
We ordered the Chef’s Sampler Dinner which was more than enough for the two of us…and a second meal the following day! It comes with one of everything: Two sides of your choice (can never go wrong with Mac n cheese or greens), two corn bread slices, hot link, ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket. It’s hard to say which items we loved the most, but it’s hands down the most tender chicken and fall-off-the-bone ribs! I can’t wait to try their stuffed turkey legs that they raved about.
Just know I’ll be back! Now that’s enough !!!s for one review.

Going in it was very questionable you can tell not much is done about the cleanliness inside there was what looked like mold on the lower walls under the tables and barbecue sauce on the walls the girl at the counter was very sweet and helpful but after we ordered while waiting a man came from the back and just brushed passed me and my friend to adress 2 women sitting and eating at one of the tables I heard him tell them he was Mr.Berry so he sat and talked to them for a few minutes and then as he was headed back into the kitchen grabbed some menu pamphlet and shoved it into my hands didnt even make eye contact or say hello or anything and to top it off i received the most chewey hard to eat ribs ive ever had with some stale dry cornbread and “mac & chees” that was definitely all mac and no cheese I wouldn’t go back there if my life depended on it

Best bbq I’ve had in Washington. Owner was incredibly sweet and the sampler plate had me thanking God for a wonderful meal. Sauce is perfect, meat is tender, and even the sides had personality. If they ever introduce fried okra, I’m renting out the attic. I will be back!

I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Berry’s until just now! They are amazing! Service is exceptional and so is their BBQ! We come from the Midwest so have high standards when it comes to bbq and a lot of the places in WA haven’t been the best. However, Berry’s is now officially our go to BBQ place! Food was so so delicious and cooked perfectly! You can tell they cook with love! Oh and their sweet potato pie is THE. BEST. EVER. I highly recommend checking this place out!!!!

We live close by and have been eyeing this place for years, wondering, hoping, wishing that the doors would open again. We picked up an order with my parents in town and everyone loved their meals. Great flavor and cooks on the meat. The sides were all delicious. I’d never had cornbread like this and loved every bite with some butter spread in the middle. You might be intimidated by the prices, but the portion sizes were well worth it, we have a full lunch ready for tomorrow.

A friend of mine went to this restaurant yesterday, October 3 because we saw the reviews and thought it’d be good. The owner greeted us. The customer service was OK. We placed our order then the owner and the other young lady that helped left for a catering job and left two teenagers there to oversee the restaurant.
I received my food ordered the mix and match with the ribs and chicken with macaroni and cheese, yams, potato salad, cornbread. The chicken was dry and overcooked the macaroni was very salty and the potato salad was just big chunks of potatoes and some kind of cream sauce. It was not good. The cornbread was sweet. The ribs were tender. The sauce was not good. I brought my ribs home and put my own sauce on them and the yams were average. I only ate the yams the cornbread and brought the ribs home. I left all the food basically untouched. I wish I took a picture.
I asked for a partial refund but the people that were there, which look like teenagers had no idea what to do. They tried calling the owner three times didn’t answer her phone. He talked to somebody else I left my name and number they said they will call me when they got back. Have not received the call back. I call today, Sunday, October 4. Sounds like teenager answered the phone. I asked if the manager was available he said no one’s there today. I asked him are you able to help me he immediately said no. I asked when will somebody be in? He said call back tomorrow. I would email, but they don’t even have a valid email on their website.
At this point I’ll be calling my bank to dispute the charge. I do not recommend at all!

THIS PLACE IS THE MOST DEPRESSING AND LEAST WORTH IT BBQ SPOT IVE EVER BEEN TO. Prices and portions don’t match at all. Vibe was HORRIBLE. And they microwaved everything except the fries. Wild.
