Whenever I visit Fort Smith, NWT, Berro’s is my go-to spot to satisfy my pizza cravings. This local gem consistently delivers delicious, hearty pizzas that hit the spot every time.
What sets Berro’s apart is their perfectly layered pizzas—generous amounts of sauce, meat, and cheese, balanced to perfection. The flavors are rich, satisfying, and always fresh.
While the ambiance is nothing fancy and the service can be a bit unpredictable, the food more than makes up for it. Trust me, you’re here for the taste, not the decor.
If you’re visiting, I highly recommend trying their signature Berro’s Pizza or the flavorful Donair Pizza. Both are must-tries and showcase the best of what this spot has to offer.

Fries & burger were cold, so I asked for hot food….one cook put my burger( with the bun) on the grill to warm up…not sure about the fries.
Not sure if I’ll ever order from there again….the order the week before, was like a child’s portion. The prices keep going up…the quality keeps going down. Disappointing as it use to be amazing food & portions….worse when the owner is away.

These guys make the best pizza in Canada; you might not believe this because it’s located in a remote place. Just take a trip down here, try their chicken pizza or veggie pizza, and you won’t regret the amount you spent for air fare. Moreover, Fort Smith is a beautiful tourist locality, flanked by Slave River on the west and Buffalo National Park on the east. Bon voyage!

I travelled to Fort Smith for work in August of 2023 and I was incredibly disappointed in the service and food at Berro’s Pizzeria. I travelled across Canada for work and I have never in all my years have I ever had such an awful experience at at small town eatery.
First my garden salad was served to me with several pieces of plastic in it. When I let the staff know there was no apologies made or an offer to compromise my salad.
Then my baked lasagna came and it was undercooked and the sauce was like water, basically it was soup and disgusting.
My coworkers decided to order and split a pizza that had raw dough. The owner would not offer to refund our meals, instead he proceeded to argue with us about the temperature of the food which was not even the issue.
To top it all off my co-worker got the worst case of diarrhea in his whole life. I strongly recommend you do not eat here if you are in Fort Smith.
