Absolutely amazing food! I checked out this restaurant during Haitian Flag Day weekend and it was the perfect addition to my weekend festivities. I had the medium snapper and one thing about Haitian restaurants, you won’t have to worry about how fried the fish is. It was well-fried! My only con was that the menu price was not the same as the final check price. I informed the server that that should be reflected for customers to have an accurate portrayal of what they will be paying. Outside of that, I WILL be returning.

The ambiance was ok. Not an easy location to find. The menu was outdated so the pricing was incorrect and higher then reflected on the menu. 18% gratitude was added automatically for a party more than one. Food was overpriced but was well seasoned. Waitress was somewhat attentive. Food did take entirely too long to receive being that we were the only ones present. Alcohol beverage wasn’t at all flavorful and water down. Flowers on table was real and dead smh. And they didn’t have a few of the entrees on the menu which kind of ruin my experience because that’s what I wanted. Overall the environment was cute but won’t be visiting again

First of all, I like showing support to Haitian businesses. I was exited to visit Berny’s! However I had an horrible experience. The servers weren’t professional at all. The guy looked like he was mad. Everything we had asked for in the menu , they didn’t have so we had to change our orders. We’ve waited 1 hour for the food come. They bought us the food one by one after 10 minutes. They never checked on us, they did not even tell us their names. The rice was not fresh and hot so we wanted to go home so we asked the waitress for a to go box and she totally forgets. And how come a server is serving with slides no dress shoes? Anyway y’all need to do better!

First I would like to start off with saying the food was amazing, but the staff was completely horrible, our server took forever to take our order and when she finally did come we couldn’t even completely finish because she walked away no reassurance if we were done nothing, didn’t check on us not once and me being a server myself I know what comes with being a server literally took our order and that’s it we wanted to order another round and drinks server was nowhere to be found… wait no she was in the back of the restaurant on the phone in open view, the food was a little spicy I needed water once again server no where to be found I had to get up three times to talk to someone myself because no one was checking on us, finally one of the servers comes to take our plates and she’s on the phone to with AirPods in her ears bright as day I hate how the food was so good but the staff did not reflect the taste of the food then had the nerve to add gratuity of 18% when I had to ask and do everything myself.

I had Barney’s cater my yacht party , the food was absolutely amazing. It was so delicious. Everyone in my party absolutely loved it. It was catered and delivered to us and it was still hot. We love the salmon the chicken as well as the griot . The rice was super tender. I will definitely be ordering from there again.

My husband and I were very eager to try this new establishment. My husband ordered the basics, fried chicken wings complete. Assuming the restaurant couldn’t mess up the wings, the wings turned out to be TYSON’S BOX WINGS. The wings were covered in fat and were soggy. My husband thought he was ordering real chicken wings not processed wings. I don’t want to get into my order because that’s another story. I don’t recommend this restaurant!

It was me & my friend first time at the restaurant the waiters wasn’t inviting, one of the waiters told me that I came on the wrong day which was Monday because the chef informed her that she was not making no more Mac & cheese or seafood salad. I took them soo long to bring our food & it wasn’t fulfilling. On top of that I just notice they charge my card twice when my friend paid $50 cash & I paid $60 on my card. On top of that on the menu my food was $16 and they charge me $18 I just disregarded it. It was crumbs on the table when they inform me on what table to sit at. One of the worse experiences ever!! The waiter name was lala she wasn’t so bad once she came back I think because she was feeling bad about our experience.

My friends and I arrived between 9-9:30pm WITH a reservation. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. About 45 minutes into service we were told that the appetizers we ordered were not available. Our food did not start to arrive to the table until 11:00pm. The vibe is cute, the music is good. But the wait for food and drinks is terrible. I’d come for hookah and a drink again, but waiting for food is a no. I will say though, once I received my food it was good BUT was it really worth the wait? 2 HOURS?!
