We did not originally plan to dine here, as a neighboring restaurant closed without notifying us. Despite that, this restaurant accommodated our party of 16 without hesitation—and what a fortunate turn of events it turned out to be.
The staff was exceptional and incredibly accommodating. While the dining area felt a bit tight initially at 7:00 p.m., it became very comfortable once the dinner rush subsided.
I ordered the pork leg shank osso buco, and it was hands down the best I have ever had—highly recommended. Dessert was the tiramisu, which was excellent, paired perfectly with an Irish coffee. Every bar drink we tried was well-crafted and spot on.

Bernini’s was an amazing experience for lunch! The location is steeped in Ybor City history, locally owned, and ingrained in the community. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent. The portions are perfect. I highly recommend the Crispy Duck, even if you are not a big fan of duck. It was some of the best duck I have ever eaten and I will definitely be back for more!

Food was very good, and entrees were 1/2 off because it was before 7:00pm, so even better. It is loud/echoey inside but not unbearably so, there is also outdoor as well as upstairs seating.

Great service, we had a party of 10 and were seated without all members of the party being there which I love. The $3 martinis are the best deal. Most meals are 50% off before 7pm. Now the lamb chops need more seasoning but were tender and good with the pesto sauce. The Shrimp and Crab Diablo is a must try. I will definitely go back.

We absolutely loved this place & come every night we’re in town. James our server is so knowledgeable & service oriented, he’s the best. The food is fabulous. We’ve had the duck, penne silica, salmon & veal lasagna & everything was wonderful. I’m not a foodie but this place may have changed that for me. Also, the $3 martinis are a MUST!!! Go & ask for James.

My review is based on the horrible, passive aggressive, customer service I received. Allie & Andrew, the rudest, barely visits the table, walks off while deciding we what to order and just all around acts as if they are annoyed, and makes snarky comments, as a server it’s unacceptable. BUT, there are a few other great servers, Love Bernini, I’m a frequent visitor, and have been for a while. I come at least once a week or so. Best martini special in town $3 can’t beat that, and the happy hour for pasta & entrees half off. Love eating outside to people watch. If it wasn’t for the specials, they would make me not want to come back.

I ordered duck and they gave me chicken when I confronted the staff and Manager and told them I know the difference ducks have red meat WGEN Cooked Medium as they should be in a restaurant and dark meat when overcooked…..and are shaped totally different long not short and fat i took a bite It was and it was TOTALLY A CHICKEN ….. they played crazy in my face and told me their ducks have white meat ♂️YEA OK…..I ve been cooking ducks for 30yrs …. Great atmosphere but dishonest… if they would lie about something so blatant what else would they do!

Been a faithful supporter and costumer for over 10 yrs. Have spend almost every Friday, sometimes Saturday afternoons for happy hour and dinner. I was there yesterday. Was invited for Knight Parade happy hour today, three tables reserved front restaurant (patio). Was told were to sit by one of my friends. Server (petite, nose ring) was ask very nicely to attend for order. I was told that the table were I was sitting was reserved and she left. Ask the other server (black hair, glasses), told the same and also left. Without waiting for explanation or listening. I understand the place was busy but, that was poor service. I used to belong to a few different krewes before, was not in costume today. What a shame. My friends are Rough Riders and we were there yesterday.

Earlier this year, I had secured a reservation with a different establishment in Ybor to host a welcome dinner/party the night before my wedding. From the beginning, my conversations with them felt cold and every request, no matter how small, felt like an opportunity for them to make money.
So much so that two weeks before the event, I called Bernini, had an amazing conversation with the management team, forfeited our deposit at the other restaurant, and reserved their third floor to host our dinner. It was an impulsive decision but one of the best ones we made for our wedding weekend!
Their space was private, unique, and felt like our own. We had amazing service, ample seating, and plenty of food and drinks. They allowed us to decide on a menu beforehand and charged us according to how much food we ordered, not on guest count. We never felt rushed and felt amazing energy the whole night that helped us kick off our wedding weekend. It is one of my favorite memories from my wedding. I couldn’t recommend and thank them more!
