Fun local burger joint experience! Staff was friendly and helpful. They brought our order to the table. The place was clean with a fun retro sorta vibe. We got a 1/2 pound smash burger meal, a couple cheese burgers, sweet potato fries. Food was all prepared correctly and quickly! Thanks Bernie’s fun experience!

The entire visit sucked start to finish when it EVENTUALLY ended. My young daughter and I went in for lunch on a Sunday. I expected it to be busy plus I’ve heard not great things about this place Everytime it’s been mentioned. Anyways we go inside to try and sit down, but we could barely walk inside the door. There was a hoard of different customers everywhere. We gave it fifteen minutes and the line wasn’t moving. The drive thru went faster. My mistake again for staying. I got to order after 25-30 minutes. It took them over an hour to bring out the three things I bought. The food was already cold when I received it. What were y’all doing for an hour and 26 minutes for less than 2 meals and an ice cream? The brownie ice cream I ordered was totally a shame as well. I expected somewhat a homemade brownie with batter since that’s what it says; however I recieved a half size cosmic brownie with some peanut butter fudge sauce? IDK but I was a bit upset at the disappointing service, food, and wait time. Hate my attitude if you’d like, but I understand why this place is badly spoken about Locally.

Wenatchee loves their burger drive-ins, and the former Buddy Lafleur’s is just fine with Bernie at the helm. I was lookin’ for a cold sam, after days of food decadence, and their Clubhouse wound up being two, delicious, meals for me. From what I hear, the ladies liked their classic fare as well. Big thanks for being open later, and my only lament was not going inside, and enjoying the local setting…

We (my wife, two young children, myself) ate at Bernie’s Burgers and Suds on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. We were driving through on our way to a vacation in Leavenworth and it is totally your local burger greasy spoon. You can tell the place has been around awhile and that remodels aren’t in the budget. But those are the best places, right?
The lady who took our order was kind and patient. When we didn’t order drinks she cheerfully asked if we would like waters which I thought was really nice. It took longer than I thought it would for our food to come out but we weren’t in the hurry. My wife ordered the chicken strip basket that was plentiful in serving size and tasted pretty good. My kids and I ordered four of the $1 Taco Tuesday tacos (2 chicken, 2 beef). They were delicious and filling for just $1.
If we pass through Wenatchee again we would definitely consider stopping at Bernie’s again.

The food took a second only because they had new staff, but it was well worth the wait. The staff were understanding after informing them it was our first time eating here and did not rush us. The food was very large and had amazing flavor, just a little too much mustard and ketchup on the hotdog. We’ll be coming back again.

Had dinner at another restaurant in Wenatchee with friends but went to Bernie’s for their Chocolate Pie. It was only $2.89 + tax. A definite bargain and was delicious.

Great service and friendly staff. I tried out their wildcat burger-it’s pretty big and sweet potato French fries. It was pretty good. They got about a dozen of tables inside to seat. All the furnitures and inside interiors are super out dated. They do have a bathroom but it’s a little weird setup since you have to walked through their open kitchens grill and breads rolling carts. They really needs a makeover. I just didn’t see any characteristics to this place that got my eyes attention when I pulled up to this place and moment I walked in. The service used to be pretty slow when I was here but it looks like it’s under a new management now. they just changed the name but place still looks the same last time I was here. So far, they’re a pretty quick at bringing out your foods this time. That’s a plus for me. Keep it up. If you’re in the area be sure to swing by and try out their huge burgers.

This used to be my go to place for sweet potato fries, but this time it took 13 minutes for one order of them with nobody in front of me. The bag was only half full for almost$5 and they were already soggy. Won’t be going back for these again
