My dad and I had lunch here and can’t say enough good things. First of all the Knoephla soup is delightful and the “wonder-sub” sandwich was also crazy good. I’m sure the tots and chips are good sides but we chose greens and they were unreal. I could have eaten a whole bowl of them. We had great experiences with every staff member but Pam and Katie H. heard us say that it was my dad’s last day of cancer radiation the next day and we were so excited. The gave us a cookie on the house that was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. Sugar cookie with frosting. Also don’t sleep on the chocolate chip with potato chip cookies!! Pam and Katie H and everyone… thank you. Cancer can wear you down. But friendly people and good food (and a free cookie) really do wonders. Bless you

Had a great bbreakfast at Bernie’s. You can absolutely tell the food is all fresh and everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable and the waitress was super nice. I didn’t get pictures of all the food it was to good and I forgot. Thank you

Wonderful experience, friendly staff, and delicious food! This was my second time dining at Bernie’s and everything was fantastic. There was a short wait, so plan accordingly if you intend to dine on a weekend over the noon hour.

On sunday 8/10 we drove approximately 4hrs (one way) to check out this restaurant. My daughter is a big fan of Molly Yeh and wanted to eat here and since we live with in driving distance. We jumped into the car and made a day of it.
Daughter tried sweet matcha tea and grilled cheese and pickle sandwich with siracha mayo on the side
Daddy tired the biscuits and gravy with tots and coffee
Me vanilla cold brew and Avocado toast with egg and bacon added
We also got some baked goods for the road chocolate crossiant and elderberry Danish
We all loved the food. The daughter said she loved how Molly had the cafe done up so esthetically. Our server was wonderful and very friendly. It was wonderful how she was able to answer all our questions

The only down side to the baked goodies was the crossiant didnt have enough chocolate in it …. the daughter said but those elderberry danishes-were wonderful
Plus the daughter got her newest cookbook

The daughter and I both agreed it wad definitely worth the drive and we will make it again and perhaps next time she will be able to run into the food network chef herself

Tried for the first time and it was really good. Our server Josie was fantastic, friendly, and helpful. Tried out the leafe dog and was pleasantly surprised. The dog was split and grilled, and all the toppings complimented the dog nicely. The smorgasbord was well made and displayed. The strawberry jam, I believe was housemade and not overly sweet. The salmon was smoked perfectly, lots of flavor, but still juice. The cardamon soda was a big hit-refreshing. Really enjoyed the bake goodies, the tahini monster cookies was soft and flavorable and the pistachio rose muffin was devine. I do agree with the other reviewers, the prices are a bit high, but unique. Will try again. SEPTEMBER 29th – Happy 2nd Birthday! Breakfast was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Made with leafse instead of a tortilla, a great crunch, and the salsa was perfect. The raspberry vanilla steamer and soda were tasty and refreshing.

the host/servers were nice, I also enjoyed the decor. we really did not enjoy any of our meals. I was particularly excited for the knoephla soup but it didn’t have any flavor? my friend’s salad was not fresh and the chickpeas were slimy (we did share this w/ our server). don’t recommend this place!

I love this building and the interior. The staff wears aprons that appear to be period appropriate. The breakfast burrito tasted very fresh, natural, and satisfying. The coffee was good. The service was friendly providing recommendations. We did leave with a crookie. It was so delicious . Another reason to swing by East Grand Forks.

I had brunch with a friend. The food we had was ok, overpriced for our sandwich and waffle. Taste was just ok. A customer next to us got a sandwich with a croissant, that looked delicious and he confirmed our thoughts. The staff was attentive but tended to interrupt a little too often (better than the alternative). The quiet upscale atmosphere is why you would go here. It was the perfect location to catch up with an old friend.

Had lunch ,staff not friendly , no one seemed to care, food was just meh…. Servers sat amongst themselves and talked , no one came back to our table. We finally walked up and made some noise to get someone’s attention

Cool spot. Delicious baked goods. Ok coffee. Little market for different ingredients and kitchen items.

Very large inside. Lots of seating options. Conveniently located with other eateries by the bridge.
