Enjoyed my first visit to Berk’s. We were there in the late afternoon and it was mostly an older crowd like ourselves. I understand that late in the evening it gets more lively with the college students. It was very pleasant, the bartender was friendly, the environment was peaceful at that time of day. The other bar patrons were friendly. They have comfortable upholstered bar stools as well as table seating. There are bags of snacks that you can buy.

It was ok… Came in on a holiday night and it was super slow, which is ok because that’s kinda the vibe we were going for… But we bought a few drinks and tipped the bartender definitely more than 20% and we got sub-par, almost rude service. As a bartender, if i have very few customers at the end of the night, I try to make them regulars; not rush them out the door so I can close faster. It was just very blatant and obvious “doing-my-job” type bartending. Ok for a quick drink but wouldn’t recommend staying for a length of time.
