Food Safety
I normally don’t leave reviews, but the experience at this dining facility was bad enough that it deserves to be called out. They threw away my order without telling me, left me waiting around for almost an hour, and acted like they had no idea what happened when I finally asked. It was obvious they did it on purpose instead of just admitting the mistake.

The cashier was rude, unprofessional, and clearly had no interest in helping anyone. This isn’t a one-time thing either — they make everyone wait way longer than necessary, and when the food finally comes out, it’s not even good. For the time it takes, the quality is honestly embarrassing.

Overall, this place is a mess. Poor communication, long waits, rude service, and bad food. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless major changes are made.

Great staff, the food during the week is of way better quality than the weekends. Breakfast is always good.

Food is fine. Staff is nice. It is cash only, so make sure you account for that.

Food was very delicious. However, my husband was approached by an AD enlisted member during our meal and she said that officers and civilians are not allowed to eat there; only enlisted members. We are still new to this area (2 months) so this is the first time we are hearing about this seeing as no one inside the facility said anything to us (cashier/food employees). If this is the case, there should be a sign displayed outside stating that enlisted members are the only ones allowed to dine there. I felt embarrassed to say the least.

Prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down.

The Thanksgiving meal for example was very dry. Turkey and roast was dry. The gravy was think, tasted like uncooked flour, and salty.

End of a GREAT limited era. After Hurricane Michael, Tyndall’s dining facility welcomed civilians working on base. The food was good, salad bar fantastic and more importantly the staff was friendly, respectful and made you feel welcomed. Because of these factors, Tyndall’s dining facility became our go to lunch location. After working for the USAF 35+ years, it was good to be back in a government controlled eating location were quality outweighed price. Well this era has apparently ended and non-TDY civilians are no longer allowed to dine. I would like to say THANKS to the employees and hope civilians are welcomed again some day.

Atmosphere is good, food is disgusting. The vegetables lack in any flavor whatsoever, and the meat is generally over cooked leaving the customer very unsatisfied with their decision to dine in at the Berg Liles

Same food and it’s more times than not disapointing. Also, the ice cream machine gets turned on like twice a month and that might be a generous estimate. Decent poppers though…
