I had an amazing time at Beretta on Divisadero – definitely deserving of 5 stars! From the moment I walked in, the bar service was top-notch. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and really knew their craft, making for a seamless and enjoyable experience.

The food was just as impressive. I had the salmon with lentils, and it was perfectly cooked – the salmon was flaky and tender, and the lentils were a great complement, seasoned just right. But the real standout was the cauliflower with romesco sauce – absolutely delicious! The romesco sauce added such a unique and flavorful twist, making the dish memorable.

Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience – excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely awful service but the food was good! We made a reservation for a table of 6 the hostess pointed to our table & didn’t guide us there which was a little strange but didn’t really matter. Then it took 20 minutes for someone to even come over to our table. The restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered drinks, appetizers, & food. Two people in our party needed another minute to decide so they put in their drink order & asked the waiter if it was okay if he came back in a few minutes to which he replied “I don’t care” with attitude. Our food came out relatively quickly however the other 2 people still had not had their order taken again. We hadn’t seen the waiter for nearly 15 minutes. Eventually we had to go ask the hostess if someone could take their order. They eventually got their food 30 minutes after ours had been served. Luckily the food was fantastic. The saffron risotto was so creamy & comforting. We loved the variety of the tricolor salad! The cacio e pepe was cooked to perfection. Our drinks were also really well made. Although we were a bit in shock about the lack of service we still had a great time. However, I would probably try the location in the mission instead.

We threw our son’s 21st bday for party of 30. Sam or Samie our server was so great. We love her. She helped us with reservations and the set menu. We had a great time.

We came for early dinner and it was all very tasty. The walnut bread is a must try. Their mushroom pizza, lasagna, and meatballs were also very good. We would come here again.

This was our first visit to this location had been to the Mission location before. The ambiance was a bit dark and gloomy to me, the Pizzas were chewy. The Cesar salad was good but the beet salad did not have enough beets. The Brussels sprouts was good and the walnut bread with burrito and honey was expensive $12 for 3 half pieces. The butternut squash ravioli was good and so were the tow deserts we shared

The bucatini is excellent, noodle texture is 5/5. The spicy Italian sausage pizza also excellent. The saffron risotto is too al dente for my liking. Definitely didn’t like the spring risotto

Loved our experience at Beretta! The meatball appetizer was delicious, the pizza was great, and decent wine selections. The only negative was the table we were seated at was too small for the food we ordered, still with one extra seat someone could have sat in. It was really narrow. Overall would definitely visit again when back in SF.

I can’t stay away from this restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and other dishes that I have had have been very good. Raul and his team have taken great care of me and the guests that I have brought with me. Each one of my guests has said that they would go back. The bartenders make a great drink, and the wine list is really good. I’d recommend you stop by if you have not been there.

I’ve been to both locations. The one on Divisadero feels a bit roomier. They have indoor and outdoor seating but the parklet is gone. My recent visit was Mother’s Day. They gave me a rose and a free bubbly or dessert. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered the arancini. It’s a must every time. Sometimes we order an extra one to go for a snack. It’s that good. She ordered the omelet and ordered the Chilaquile. For dessert we ordered the profiterole. We were hoping to take one or two home for later but it had ice cream so we couldn’t. Service was great as usual.

Beretta on Divisadero — this is your golden hour ritual after the Painted Ladies.

Picture this: it’s 4 PM, you’ve just soaked in that classic San Francisco postcard view — and now you’re here, at Beretta, ordering Arancini, a Pizza Margherita with burrata, and a glass of classic Prosecco. Honestly? That’s peak happiness.

I didn’t know I missed good pizza this much — thin, crispy base, real dough, and that creamy burrata melting on top like it belongs there. Pure joy. And the Arancini? Oh man, that was my first time trying them, and it was like biting into a warm hug with a tiny green pea surprise inside. Soft, golden, delicate — Arancini is an Italian love poem you can eat.

This isn’t just food. This is a memory.
This is the kind of place you tell your friends about.
This is a “Cyborg recommends” spot.
To be continued…
