Solid deli and corner store spot. Very generous portion sizes which proved to be very helpful with a large group. Great attention to detail on the meats, cheeses, and spices in the sandwiches. The best part was most definitely the bread and the vegetables. Funny, cool owner and workers and a pleasant experience. A bit pricey for what it is.

The breakfast sandwiches from Berenato’s Deli are a must! The sausage, egg, and cheese and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches were cooked to perfection and both absolutely delicious. Among the best spot in Ocean City for a mouth-watering breakfast sandwich, and while I haven’t had a hoagie yet, they are raved about. .

My family and I have been coming to Ocean City for a week every summer for over 25 years. One of the places we must stop for a breakfast sandwich and an Italian sub is Berenato’s. I have never had a bad sandwich from here in all that time and the service is always excellent. The Berenato family greeted us with a smile everytime we walked through the door like we were locals. I was sad to learn that Joe had passed away a few months back, but I know the deli is in good hands with Sharon. We will continue to stop in every vacation for years to come.

Loved our Italian hoagie! They also have simple staples like you might find in a camp store. Nice to also have some outdoor seating.

Checked Google before heading over and it said they were open until 6. Got there at 5:30 and the place was already closed. The door doesn’t list a Sunday closing time, which makes it seem like they close whenever they feel like it. No regular hours on Facebook either, just Memorial Day info. Super frustrating and a waste of time.

First of all, I would like to say the owner is very rude! She does not care for all of her customers, however only cares for some. With that being said, they do have tier 3 breakfast sandwiches on a 5 tier scale. They are better than wawa or Dunkin, however lack some important qualities. Firstly, they do not have enough egg, and the quality of the bagel is average. However, they make up for it with a plethora of bacon, which is cooked to perfection. As for the groceries, they sell milk that is spoiled and pickles that are mid. Overall, I would not shop for groceries here, however if you are in need of a breakfast sandwich it will do.

It’s about their convenience. That’s great if they’ve done it this way for decades and people love and support their local deli. But without that allegiance, they want customers to pony up cash or use their ATM so they don’t pay credit card fees. House rules also include that you wait to pay for your order until after it’s handed to you. Food is pretty solid.

Our extended family rent a house nearby every year and we always order hoagies at least twice! We ordered a total of 8 or 9 of their largest hoagie total this trip for two evenings (my brother in laws family is orginally from philly and he knows a great hoagie and he lives in CA now, and these are his favorite meals we order!). We also picked up deli meat for sandwiches a few times, which is always fresh and cut thin how my mom likes it! Their breakfast sandiwiches are also the best! The personal service and customer attention is the best, as my mom was asked how we enjoyed the hoagies we ordered when she was there the next day getting lunch meat. Thank you again for contributing to our families summer vacation.!
