Had a really satisfying Vietnamese meal at Bep Mai in CHIJMES. The food was comforting, well-executed, and full of authentic flavours.

The Duo Meat & Meatballs Phở really stood out. The broth is freshly brewed daily by simmering beef bones and chicken for hours, with no MSG added. It’s incredibly clean, fragrant and comforting — no heavy or dry aftertaste at all.

The beef quality is excellent. They use sirloin and ribeye steak cuts, lightly cooked so the meat stays very tender and fresh, pairing beautifully with the broth. The crispy beef meatballs added another layer of texture, making the bowl even more satisfying.

We also tried the Grilled Chicken Bun Cha, which delivered classic Hanoi-style flavours. The grilled chicken was juicy with a smoky char, served with vermicelli and a well-balanced pickled sauce. Adding the chicken soup on the side was a great touch.

The Classic Ham Bánh Mì was well executed too — crisp baguette, generous filling of pork liver pâté and roasted pork, balanced with fresh herbs, pickles and cucumber.

Great Vietnamese comfort food in a beautiful CHIJMES setting. Highly recommended, especially for phở lovers.

Chanced upon this outlet when we were exploring eateries at CHIJMES.

Initially we wanted the outdoor seating but it wasn’t really conducive. The female server was friendly and kind to let us have a change of mind to switch to indoor seating.

The restaurant wasn’t too packed on a weekday night.

The servings were huge and I like the flavourful pho. One of the better ones you can find in SG. The drinks though economical, could be better. The lemongrass was quite diluted and had little taste or fragrance. We all liked what we ordered. A good place to visit if you have some cravings for Vietnamese food. As the seating capacity is not big, it might be a good idea to make reservations.

Food was really good, very authentic and fresh. I especially love all the vegetables, which were super crunchy and naturally flavourful. The only downside is that the price is on the higher end. Will patronize again!

I always find the food outlets in Chjimes a little ordinary but was recommended this place by a friend. The pho was excellent and packed with flavour although a little more beef would not have gone amiss. I also had the spring rolls but they needed a bit more zip in the sauce. Service was quick and friendly so I’d come again.

Fantastic dry pho. The beef brisket is super soft and melts in your mouth. The rice noodles are well seasoned and gives a very balanced taste when it touches your tongue. I love it!

Came here after a rainy weekend night, and the hot bowl of Pho never disappointed me. It brought me to the flavor of my hometown that made me homesick after a few-day trip to Singapore. Worth visiting and trying Pho here.

Outstanding Vietnamese. Best I’ve had in SG. Coconut coffee was lovely. Pho spectacular. I think the meatballs were handmade. Broth was so delicious! My wife had chicken bun. She says it tasted very ‘fresh’. Wish I had taken some photos but we ate too quick! Definitely worth going out of your way. I’ll be back to try the banh mi.

Good Experiences
New Vietnamese restaurant. Had the Metapho. The portion is generous and the broth very delicious. The beef slices and brisket are the star of the dish. The tripe and the tendon were a little chewy though. Friendly service and nice ambience for a leisurely lunch.
