We had a great meal for my wife’s birthday. Her pasta (lasagna) was free on her birthday with the loyalty program. It came bubbling hot and was a big serving size (big enough for two to share). The side caesar salad was a full size salad and had great flavor (lots of caesar dressing). I had very good baja fish tacos. You get 3 small fish tacos filled full. Our server Chelsea L was very attentive. Very good service.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn, which is attached to the restaurant, and decided we would head down to get some dinner at 4:45 on a Saturday. The hostess was clearly overwhelmed and after waiting a few minutes she asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. She informed us they had no tables available and did not give us the option to wait for a table. We asked for a menu to place a to go order. A couple walked in after us and were offered a table in the bar. When we asked why that option wasn’t offered to us. We were told all of the other (empty) tables in the bar were reserved. I completely understand a busy restaurant on a Saturday night. What I don’t understand is a clear lack of respect for paying customers, especially when you’re attached to a hotel. So we ordered food to go and were told it would take 30 minutes. It took an hour. The restaurant was pure chaos- overbooked on reservations, backed up on food orders, and disrespectful management. The food was fine. The customer service was awful. If you stay at the hotel, I’d recommend eating elsewhere.

Stopped by for a late dinner and definitely enjoyed the food! The portions were MASSIVE for the price – and the caprese salad was lovely! The service was lacking a bit, we had 3 different servers within ~5 minutes. Felt like we were ushered out the door though! Overall, great food but service wasn’t our favorite!

After the other Benvenuto’s closed. This one is the only one near me (Madison) that is open. Its attached to a hotel (not inside, seperate entrance). The food is great (the bread is amazing), and menu favorites are still there. The service was quite a wait, probably due to them also servicing the hotel. We went on a Friday night and it wasnt busy inside the restaurant but it took us a long while to be waited on after sitting down; probably due to the demand of the hotel guests also ordering food to their rooms.
The waitress was amazing though, she made sure were taken care of (we could tell she was working on the few other tables in the room as well) as fast as she could and was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. She totally talked us into the desert we secretly wanted

No a bad meal for the price and the convenience. The service was outstanding. They also have a great house red. I had the sirloin with Parmesan crusted topping, and a side of grilled shrimp. Also, the crispy Brussel sprouts were amazing!!! I will be back.

First off, tacos? At an Italian restaurant?
Prime rib? At an Italian restaurant?
Why?!?
I ordered shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was nothing special, definitely didn’t taste like authentic Alfredo, more the cream based American version. The pasta and shrimp were cooked fine but nothing to brag about.
My other half got chicken carbonara and he was very disappointed with his meal, completely lacked flavor complexity he is use to. In his words “I’d rather go to Olive garden”

The food definitely wasn’t worth the price! The restaurant was really run down and the food tasted like microwave watered down food! It was my cousin’s birthday and she wanted lasagna everything else was booked. The waitresses were great and so was the dessert. My cousin left her birthday card on the table with the cash she had received as a gift and someone picked it up and didn’t turn it in.

Over 45 minutes for food to be ready, reasonable.
Waiting an additional 10 minutes for host to return after giving your name for the order, annoying. Being told that an item off the menu after ordering, it happens. Proceeding to watch an employee behind the counter eating that exact food item right in front of your face? That’s a new one.

My food & my parents food was great but my brothers sucked! He ordered a steak prepared medium I came well done! I’m a vegetarian and I could even have prepared that correctly! Our waitress barely spoke English and hovered over us while my dad paid in cash. She also refused to let us charge our meal to the room even though the receipt said we could! We considered going back because 3/4 meals were fine but after her behavior we decided against it! She also said you come back tomorrow and the next day and the next day when she found out we were staying at the hotel. Seriously? I would tell you her name but none of us could understand her when she said it and she wasn’t wearing a name tag. Sorry.
