My girlfriend had ordered 2 slices, they were placed one on top of another leading to them being glued to eachother on a single plate. Clean place with good food, but small details do matter at times since we were going to share the slices.

I’ve been ordering here for a few years and most times it’s been great. I usually buy the special, 2 pizzas and a bottle of soda usually ordered at night.
Ordered today for pick up and the pizza was seriously awful. Undercooked, not cut, thicker crust on half the pie all around awful.
After trying to eat it to the point we just gave up.
Pizza has to be awful in this house not to get eaten but this one was beyond that.
I decided to call and see if we can take it back, 3 slices were taken out and I would have paid for that.
When I called the girl kinda knew what I was talking about pretty quickly and put me on the phone with someone who said they were the manager and they made the pizza.
He said “sorry” and then we had 20 seconds of silence
I asked can I bring them in to show you, he said no, he’s not going to do anything about it because he felt we held the pizza vertically for some reason but there’s no way he made a mistake.
Even if I decided to hold my pizzas like record albums, what does that have to do with it tasting awful and bland?
Guy was rude and if that’s the manager I now understand why the pizza was awful.
This place is good if you want to spend a little over 20 bucks and get two pizzas maybe treat your crew on the cheap but as far as customer service, taste and quality it completely fell off.
When you guys decide to respond to this with your fake excuse like the other bad reviews here, PEOPLE see through it. Bad pizza, bad business, never ordering from here again. You get what you pay for.

Old school, Italian pizza, deli center filled with old school, Italian, feel and food. I ordered an Italian bread sandwich with turkey and hard salami. Classic came with homemade chips that were in House for those that don’t know means that they actually peeled potatoes and fried them and they taste like chips. Probably some of the best trips I ever have my wife ordered buffalo wings and zucchini sticks. Everything was perfect. The decor and the store felt like I just walked into an old Italian place even with the good Fellas hanging out and about. Stop in or something and you won’t regret it. This is a offer you can’t refuse.

Good food and good atmosphere, but when I orderd online, there is an option for cannolis as a dessert but when I picked up the food and brought it home no cannolis were given. I called the restaurant and they say they no longer provide this, but gave no apologies and no fix for the problem. They also did not tell me when I picked up the food that cannolis were not an option anymore. When I told him this was no problem they should at least let their customers know t hey gave me a rude response off the phone. Would like to come here every so often for the family options, but this is how they treat their customers, I will no longer be frequently this establishment.

I always get the special pizza and I love them. I’m not big fan of pizza but this is the only place that I found and makes different flavors. People are nice and fair price as well. Also they do vodka sauce incredible good!

TL;DR: This isn’t meant to be harsh—just honest feedback in hopes of encouraging a more respectful approach to customer service moving forward. The food I received (a stromboli from Benvenuti in Garwood) was burnt, and while I accepted a 50% charge (price wasn’t the issue), the way the situation was handled left a bad impression due to the cook’s unnecessarily harsh tone.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I think this experience is worth sharing. I ordered a stromboli for carryout on March 25th. Unfortunately, it was burnt and unpleasant to eat. I calmly brought this to their attention, and the cook took it back and offered to charge me half—something I accepted without issue, as the cost wasn’t my concern.
What disappointed me was the disrespectful and dismissive tone I was met with. I approached the situation respectfully and accepted the compromise, yet the interaction ended in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile. Mistakes happen in food service, and that’s completely understandable. But how those moments are handled matters just as much as the food itself.

They did not see my online order, told me it was being worked on after I called to alert them the app said Confirming order after 15 min, then they canceled the order after another 5 min. This is the second time Benvenuti has just canceled me.
Update: I did receive the pizza in spite of the cancellation. Pizza was good but I can’t trust I will get it when ordered online.

Came up from Baltimore for work and just happened to see this place while driving past.. Has to be one of the best random stops ever. Had a slice of pep the first time. Had the chicken parm and chicken ceaser pizza the second. Definitely stopping again when I’m in the area..

We got the dinner for 4 special and it was tasty. Chicken Parm, penne, house salad, Italian bread, and some cannoli chips with cream. The amount of food could have served 6 easily and it was all homemade and fresh. Chicken was very good quality. I definitely recommend.
