The food is always amazing. Servers are polite and go above and beyond to make your experience great. It’s a staple and my favorite place to eat whenever I go to conventions. You’ll see a lot of people from SacAnime there when it’s going on. Lol Always a good time.

Everything was sticky. I touched various places around the bar, table tops, my shoes on the walk to the bathroom–and the floor in the bathroom itself! What cleaning product causes absolutely every surface to be tacky to the touch? Couldn’t eat here. Had a beer–served in a chipped glass with a sharp edge–and left. Bartender was personable but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Loved this place! They had an extensive menu with Bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, ramen, udon, etc. The service was great and everything we ordered was delicious! Will definitely be back.

We originally planned to eat at Kitchen15, but since it was closed, we decided to try Bento Box downtown. While looking over the menu and preparing to be seated, one of our friends needed to use the restroom. The hostess told us we had to purchase something first before using the facilities—meaning we were expected to pay for food we hadn’t even ordered yet.

Frustrated, we left. Later, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned, this time recording the experience to see if it was a one-time issue. Unfortunately, the manager/owner treated us the exact same way.

We never even got the chance to order food, yet the service was already unwelcoming and dismissive. Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

The server was amazing. Very attentive and respectful. Great spacious setting with lovely view of the street. The food presentation is nice but the taste, that is a different story. Fish was overcooked and dry. The quality of sushi roll fell short of our expectations.

Customer described meal they wanted (sesame chicken/sesame chicken bowl that looks like general tso’s to waitress). Waitress explained that yes that sesame chicken bowl on menu is what you described. Order was delivered and was actually fried chicken cutlet over rice, no sesame seen on food. Customer attempted to return order and male manager would not take back to food. Then asked customer is they looked at the menu for what sesame chicken was. There is no picture of sesame chicken. There is a photo of it under the kids menu/not near bowls on the menu. Male Manager then asked if customer tried it and tasted it and that it was sesame chicken. Customer did not touch the food and stated he did not receive what he described after explaining it to the waiter. Manager would then not take the food back or refund it from the bill. A second manager then came out stating the same thing and that they could swap items on the menu. Worst management customer service in a very long time. Took talking to 2 different waitresses and 2 different managers. It took 20 mins of discussion and then saying no no no we won’t refund, to actually get the bill changed and for them to actually refund the meal. This is not sesame chicken.

We decided to go for dinner and had an amazing experience. We arrived around 8:30 pm, and luckily, it wasn’t too crowded, so we were promptly seated.

The restaurant has plenty of seating options, including space at the bar if you prefer.

I ordered the vegetable roll and miso soup, while my friend opted for the bento box. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it out and would love to visit again in the future.

Furthermore, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal.

The food was really good. I got the teriyaki chicken sizzling plate, and friends had other items. We were all happy with our choices. The service was super slow. The waiter doesn’t come back to check on you. We had to find someone to ask for the bill and then wait another 20 minutes. I asked for a receipt and didn’t receive one. They should check the Convention Center schedule to make sure they have enough staff working for lunch times. The parking is a paid garage across the street. The prices are high for the amount of food received.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waitress and manager were both incredibly rude. They’ve recently started charging customers before providing service, which already raised some red flags.

I ordered the calamari, which came out bland and completely lacking in flavor. I immediately asked for a replacement or a refund, but they flat-out refused. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the staff showed such disregard for customer satisfaction.

They made it clear that once you’ve paid, you’re stuck with whatever you get—whether you like it or not. Be careful and only order something you already know is good, because if you’re unhappy with your meal, they won’t care and you won’t get your money back.

I will never return, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values respectful service and quality food.

If I could give zero stars, I would. As a frequent customer, I was extremely disappointed by how our table was treated after we raised a concern about part of our meal being undercooked. A female manager came to our table and was completely unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, she argued with us about the taste and quality of the food and repeatedly said, “we don’t do that here.”

There was no notice on the menu about “no exchanges” or “sales are final,” aside from alcohol sales. This experience showed a complete lack of customer service and respect for loyal customers.
