I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed at Bentley’s. we often show up for their Sunday special (about $15 for either salmon, small filet, or prime rib). Not life-changing but a good fifteen buck meal. I splurged the other day on their regular rib eye steak. That got my attention…it was a SUPERB steak, a generous cut, done perfectly (about $27). Best of all is the ambience: cozy booths warm woods, nice table settings, very friendly service. A great, can’t-miss romantic dinner.

Went in for daughter’s birthday last night at 5 pm, expecting to benefit from happy hour. Miserable curmudgeon of an owner said we couldn’t have happy hour prices because we were sat at a table outside, eventually agreed that we could. Appetizers were good. Then ordered dinner, by this time the owner may have gone in the back to tell the staff to serve us up some bad stuff since the food wasn’t very good, rack of lamb very fatty, tournedos with crab mediocre. Ordered deserts, drinks etc. total bill with tip came to $500. Then produced a $25 discount voucher on paying and was told we couldn’t have happy hour prices and use the $25 discount voucher as well !! Who is this idiot of an owner !! The local retired millionaires go in there and spend fifty bucks getting legless and having a full dinner off the happy hour menu yet the owner can’t accept a $25 voucher on a $500 bill !! Won’t be spending $500 or any other number in Bentley’s again. Poor by any standards.

I like outdoor dinning, but the seat cushions were stained and dirty and the chairs were made of metal, so they were very noisy whenever anyone moved their chair. Some plastic covers on the feet of the chairs would go along way in reducing the noise and help the ambiance (that’s missing). The food and wine were good however, as are the Sunday night prices.

As I walked into this restaurant, I knew it was a huge regret. The interior looked nothing like the grand presentation in the online pictures, it looked like it had not been redone in 20 years. Also, I noticed towards the bar there was lamps covered in bird feathers, which was a little creepy. But I was thinking you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, so I thought the food and service would be excellent, as some* reviews said.
The hostess took us to our table, on the patio, where my 12 year old daughter asked for I kids menu. The hostess said, I can’t give you one it’s 12 and under only. Well, my daughter said that she was 12 and the hostess rolled her eyes and walked away. After, the manager had come over to our table and gave her a kids menu, staring at her as if the hostess said we lied.
We waited at least 10 minutes and our waiter came over looking overwhelmed from the couple tables she had. We had ordered, and she hadn’t given us any suggestions after we had had asked her to, just brushing us off. My husband received clam chowder as an appetizer and the soup was cold and received stale crackers. Later, we recevied our food and my husbands mashed potatoes tasted as if they were from a school cafeteria. My beef brisket was cold and over cooked, and tasted of lemon, i sent it back. My daughters kids pasta was bland, and my other daughter asked for pasta with esparagus and they gave her pasta with all vegetables except for esparagus. Our food was way over priced, and thank the lord we don’t live in the area so we never have to even see the nasty restaurant again.
P.S. I tried to give this place a zero star as it deserved but google wouldn’t let me 🙁

Came in Sunday night, got the filet mignon special. Pretty typical meat + veg + starch but it was pretty good. Filet was cooked perfect and was a great cut of meat, the veggies were nice, and the potato was delicious. Staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. $16 for the plate + 2.50 for the baked potato sub (special comes with mashed) and given the quality I’d have expected to pay at least $30 elsewhere.

I have eaten at Bentleys a few times since they opened last year. The updated restaurant space has a very classic design with a full granite counter top bar and several flat screen tvs in the bar as well. It has a very cozy comfortable feel in the dining room and during the summer time the outside patio seating is ideal.
The food is excellent, I had the ribeye twice and ribs once, all the entrees come with a choice of a side and you can add a salad for about $5, the mixed berry salad was my favorite. My wife and I always compare places by their calamari, Bentleys has one of the best calamari appetizers we have ever had, full calamari steaks cut into strips, no tentacles or small rings. My wife got the filet two times and the oscar tourn a dos (or something like that) once, each time the steaks were cooked just right and were incredibly tender.
For everything the restaurant offers I think their prices are a great value and I have recommended them to several friends and they all have been very happy with Bentleys as well.

Had a wonderful dinner at Bentley’s this past Saturday. I had a center cut filet mignon and my wife had a rib-eye steak. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was a great evening. Thanks T. Decker

This place is pretty solid. They have a 15 dollar meal deal on Mondays for either Prime rib, filet mignon (I think), or salmon. I think they also have a wine bottle deal on Mondays as well.
