i recently visited the Bent Axle Grill at 125 W Clinton St, in Gray, GA. I hadn’t been there in awhile. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted again by Maddie. She took my drink order and I was quickly served. It was great to catch up with her and what has changed over the last year. Thanks for the great service. Hope to be back soon!

Huge chicken finger sandwich special was amazing!! It was on Texas toast and the chicken tenders were juicy and crispy with fresh lettuce and tomato. It was a super yummy sandwich. The broccoli was also well seasoned.
The poutine was yummy….good brisket and cheese. I would have loved it if the fries weren’t baked but it was good with the gravy to soften them.
Great live music on the patio and basketball was in the TVs. Friendly staff and tasty drinks.

Great food and staff! Amberly was our waitress and she was awesome! The food was outstanding. Our steak and burger were cooked perfectly at the temp we like. I definitely recommend Bent axle for lunch and dinner.

Wow how a few months can change a restaurant’s overall experience. Totally different experience than before and a nightmare to say the least. Our server/bartender didn’t care that we were there. I tried numerous times to get her attention, but she was in a deep conversation with the couple sitting next to us. The glasses were beyond disgusting, silverware still had food on it, some of our food was cold and some tasted bad/spoiled! I even told our server, but again she didn’t care. We always leave minimum 20% tip … most times more… I just couldn’t justify giving her anything. I went to the ladies restroom and NO toilet paper. I came back to tell our server and couldn’t get her attention. I was a bartender/server for 15 plus years and the way we were treated isn’t acceptable. I had even recommended it to several of our friends. That won’t happen again! Also, we overheard the manager was so drunk he couldn’t hardly talk. Leadership is key! Please zoom in on the glasses I got a to-go box for my dogs to eat our $60 lunch. Should’ve taken more pictures, but at this point I was over it!

This is a fun and cute concept with ample seating for the area. They have a large patioarea with gas heaters and a full bar. Pricing is slightly high for the area however the quality is good and the presentation is simple and tasteful.
The menu has a catchy naming convention keeping with the motifs. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone passing through looking for a different atmosphere or those who are local looking for that new favorite spot.

The menu has declined (quality and options) over the years at this restaurant, that I why I give it a 3 stars overall. The service has always been great, along with the atmosphere. Even with multiple owners stocking has been an issue.

Usually my food is delicious but ordered dinner last night. Ordered the smothered grilled chicken breast and it was tenders instead of a breast. Also my side was cheesy broccoli and it was as if they but shredded cheese on it and wasn’t melted all the way. Called the next day and spoke with someone about my ordered. Told her what I ordered and I wasn’t please with it at all. As about the meal having a breast but tenders. She said if they sell out then tenders are what they used. I told her in a situation like this you should make sure with the customer first. She said she would let them know. I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. Hope the next time my food will be delicious. At least my son enjoyed his a
salmon.

Co-hosted a private party here for 50-60 Rotarians engaged in a multi club social last week. It was a great event and Ben and his staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to other groups and individuals for great food and great service.

Went for lunch. They accommodated my special request and it was delicious. Everyone was extremely pleasant and customer service focused. This unique restaurant has a down home feel to it.
