Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had locally. The ribeye steak was nothing short of phenomenal—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can truly tell the quality of the cut and the care that goes into preparing it.
What made the night even better was our server, Scotty. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Service like that is rare and absolutely appreciated.
Between the amazing food and outstanding service, this steakhouse has earned a top spot on our list. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Scotty again!

The food was impeccable!! The atmosphere was very laid back and sort of upscale while being down-to-earth. The service was absolutely top tier! Our server was NIKKI and we had a large party. She was very responsive and attentive to all of our needs. Nikki was exceptional and we loved her!!! The manager was a delight as well. We all loved our experience at Benson’s!!!!

We’re new in town and decided to give this place a try. Our server was amazing, super friendly, and attentive. The fried pickles were okay, but the steaks were really good. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend it!

Our new favorite steakhouse. Amazing food. The pepper jack cheese logs taste like they are hand battered in the back. Melt in your mouth tender filet cooked to perfection. We were seated immediately and shocked with no wait at 630 on a Saturday. The Beth Dutton cocktail is the perfect balance you want in a drink. Don’t sleep on the brussel sprouts. They were delicious. Our server, Kim, took excellent care of us. Top shelf customer service, Kim! We will definitely ask for her section when we return. We even bought bacon and ground beef from their meat market on the way out. Can’t wait to try it.

Not being from Hattiesburg my husband and I came here to celebrate 22 years of marriage. We decided to to come here and were so glad we did! Noah was a great server! Our food was not only cooked to perfection, but he made our night extra special by surprising us with a white chocolate bread pudding for dessert! It too, was delicious just as everything else!

Service is poor, not busy and waitress forgets to bring salads, drinks. Employees Too much plying around with each other. Older woman I am assuming the manager. She was racing around working, but no clear direction to the staff. Was not talking to customers. She looks busy, but so does a squirrel. She is probably a very nice lady, but the staff is a reflection of her.
We will give another try because the food was outstanding. Drink prices are way extreme $18 for an Ole Fashion? Come on.

I had an excellent experience here! Our server was absolutely amazing, I think her name was Arabella. Our drinks never went empty, which is always a great sign. The food was even better. The pepper jack cheese logs were sooo good. Our entrées were cooked just right, and the dessert was even better. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible time at Bensons tonight! The bartender, Kayla, made me a FANTASTIC spicy margarita. Probably the best I’ve ever had. I had the cajun pasta and steak bites with brussel sprouts… and WOW!!!!! No one else is doing it like Bensons. Good environment, good food, and good people! Thank y’all!
