Breakfast is only served on Sunday mornings 8-12. Scrambled eggs are creamy and very buttery. Biscuits and gravy are very good also. Food came out super fast. Waitresses are very attentive but Loud, yelling across the room and into the kitchen. The only downfall of Ben’s Restaurant.

We were visiting for the weekend and stumbled into Ben’s. We sat at the bar and had great service. The food was SO good. Burger with handcut fries, stuffed pepper cheese bread, the Perch dinner with macaroni and cheese, and French onion soup were standouts.

So the food was ok. I ordered the chicken strips and tater tots, but what I got was deep-fried breaded quarters of chicken breasts and cold French fries. The strips were a little too thick cut for me, and it was chewy. I like tarter sauce with my chicken, but it was way too sweet, hence the name TARTER. My wife got the stuffed shells, and she wasn’t pleased either. The pickle fries were amazing tho. Our waitress was awesome at the beginning but then forgot about us for quite a while, then lost my debit card when we were paying our tab, giving me a heart attack. It’s not the worst experience willing to give it another go if ever around the area again

Sat at the bar to get lunch with a friend. Super nice bar tender. My friend and I were talking about taking a cruise with our husbands and she gave really good advice. Overall..the food was fabulous and hospitality the best. Will be going back.

We stopped by for lunch as we were going through the area. This is a really nice place. They have a bar along with high-top tables on one side and a full restaurant on the other side. They do have patio seating… however, the temps outside were in the 20’s and the wind was blowing pretty good. Needless to say, there wasn’t anyone sitting outside.
The service was great. The food was delicious. The facilities were clean.
I definitely would recommend Ben’s Restaurant.

We recently celebrated a 90th birthday for a family member at Ben’s Restaurant. The food and service was exceptional. The wait staff went above and beyond to help make a memorable experience for everyone.

We tried Ben’s for the first time on a Friday night. The parking lot was almost full, which is a good sign. Ben’s did not disappoint. I had broiled Lake Erie walleye and my wife had a scallop and pasta dish. Both meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back.

Decent food we did stand at the counter for like 10 minutes before anyone acknowledge us. I had the seafood broiled platter and it was pretty darn good my only comment was the baked potatoes was a lil dried out. She had the walleye and wasn’t pleased that it was served in a platter of butter. Overall we would give this place a try again.

Very good food! The menu has a variety of items to choose from. Definitely something for everyone. Atmosphere feels nostalgic in a good way, reminds me of 80s/90s vibe but we loved it! Friendly staff as well.
