Please do something about the 3 BIG YELLOW signs that all say 24 HRS and are LIT-UP no matter what time you drive by. Since that tradition hasn’t continued at this location obviously. It’s not like the place is all dark or anything….I’ll gladly come back and edit! Gotta be a way to fix that and avoid the frustration. Thanks!

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Best milkshake I’ve had, rich and thick— get strawberry. If you can eat, get a fully-dressed double and substitute mustard/mayo with the fry sauce & a large milkshake (Don’t be a degenerate and add chili fries in your burger. You can get some on the side.) This place definitely has the best VALUE in New Orleans.

A shameful and alarming experience. They intentionally turned off the lights while we were still seated and eating, without any warning or explanation, and then told us the place was closed, as if that justified the way we were treated.
To make it worse, an employee started yelling and followed us outside, behaving aggressively and making us feel threatened, as if the situation could turn physical. This level of conduct is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional.
There was no apology, no respect, and no accountability.
This wasn’t a mistake — it was hostile behavior, verbal abuse, and a total lack of consideration for paying customers.
If this is how they treat people who pay, this place doesn’t deserve a second chance.

Dont know how this place is still open and who eats this.. hot burger with cold shredded cheese that does not melt. I can guarantee the burger meat is ok, everything else taste like a school made it. Fries more limp than 70 y.o gramps. Man

If you want a really good burger in Metairie Eat at BEN’s …the food was awesome and made to order and nice and hot too! This is a spot that I highly recommend especially if you have TEENS! You can definitely not go wrong. Plenty of Saints fan selfies here…They got burgers they’ve got fries they’ve got chicken they’ve got pies they’ve got nuggets by the bulk, they got buckets of the sauce, they got smokies they’ve got dawgs, they got Shakes we love it all!! Mayo, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, meat, cheese, mustard….song on TikTok is catchy too kids had the song on repeat. girls rated it a 9.5 out of 10

Not bad. We were short on time & didn’t want fast food. This place popped up on the map so we went. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall spot. Which isn’t a bad thing, but that’s exactly what the “atmosphere” is. The food was pretty good. The red tray & white cellophane bag they put the burger in gives off all the nostalgia vibes. 2 places they are going horribly wrong: 1. They use a pre pressed patty. 2. The bun is not grilled. Using fresh ground beef, formed in-house & grilling the bun would make a world of difference. I would be back with all my friends & family if they did. We spent $27.76 for a #4 with bacon, a big ben, small fry & a coke. In my opinion, that isn’t a bad price at all.

They didn’t recieve my intial Order (used an online food service), which wasn’t a biggie. I was cool waiting for the food to be prepared while I watched the world series game and play arcade games. Not only did I wait 20-25mins before going to the restaurant, and another 30mins while my food was prepared, only for the food to be complete trash!
The burger was a nice sized but it was made terribly. It had so much bbq sauce (xtra sauce wasn’t requested) that the burger was a complete landslide. The bbq overpowered the entire burger. The chili cheese fries? A joke as well. The cheese and chili was literally stuck to some old fries. I didn’t waste my time trying to eat them. I threw them to the side until I was ready to throw my burger away.
Im vacationing from out of state, and Ben’s Burgers is a bad representation of NOLA food. I could’ve passed it up and went to Wendy’s and had better. When I ride past the establishment, I laugh hysterically at the disappointment.
Check out any other place but this one, but to each it’s own.
