No way to fake it – Just real barbecue slow smoking on an authentic smoker. Located in the heart of downtown Westfield, Indiana, we’re open Fridays through Sundays from noon to sellout. Probably the best BBQ in Midwest, even better than famous BBQ PLACES in Texas. He opens 12-3 but he operates by ordering few days earlier. He was sold out of brisket at 1pm! So you better order ahead of time.

WOW! There are very few places that I could name where I couldn’t think of one single thing that could be improved upon but Bens BBQ shack is one of them. The service–WOW! The food–WOW! BEST RIBS & COLE SLAW IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The hype is REAL y’all! Customer service that makes you feel like they really care about you. This is how you get a lifetime customer. The brisket didn’t need any sauce, it was perfectly cooked but Ben’s sauce took it to another level.

Ben continually out performs every prior visit I have made here! Every time I go, it just gets better. Even if you aren’t a turkey fan, Ben’s will wreck you for any other turkey you’ve ever had. The Brisket is another favorite of our family, the flavor is spectacular, it falls apart as you pick it up – the ring is 100% ON POINT!
The burbon buttermilk pies are amazing, and taste like something your grandma would’ve made!
There is absolutely NOTHING on the menu that is not amazing!! Ben is open limited hours, because he refuses to sacrifice quality for quantity. This is an approach more business should take! I would recommend Ben’s to ANYONE that likes BBQ. No sauces necessary!

I got the Big Game bundle. Everything was well seasoned and well cooked. The ribs were some of the best I have had, there was a noticeable smokey flavor to marry the slightly spicy seasoning to the tang of the vinegar based sauce. The coleslaw is great on its own or paired with any of the bbq. Whether it was intentional or not, I did not detect much of the smokey flavor I look for in the brisket and pulled pork. Well seasoned and cooked, the consistency was without question, wonderful.
Finish off with the Buttermilk pie. It’s flakey and sweet but not too sweet.

This is my 3rd time visiting Ben’s in the last 3 years and I must say, I am not doing myself any justice by not putting Ben’s in my weekly meal rotation. The meats are out of this world. First time I got there early enough to get Brisket as a walk-up. 2nd time he was all sold out of meat, but was gifted pies, beans, and slaw since they were closing for the day. Pure love. Thank you all. 3rd time, which was today, all sold out of Brisket but the ladies in line in front of me gave me some of theirs to eat while I waited for my order. Again, pure love. Thanks ladies!! I tried the Pulled Pork today… OMG! The best ever! Now I know to place a preorder because he ran out of ribs and brisket by 12:40 pm. He even threw a pie in my bag. A lovely surprise! Thank you!! Again, another example of the love he gives to his customers and his customers are passing it along to each other in the line. The smoke, the flavor, the juiciness. It’s all there in the meats. Now, I’m hooked for sure and will be placing my weekly preorder. Oh, and the BBQ sauce, pickles, and onion are divine. But, I couldn’t decide if I wanted the sauce or not, because the meat stands on its own. So, I just drizzled it on the meat and it was a perfect combo. This man knows what he’s doing and I’m just blessed to be able to experience it. ❤️

We got a little bit of everything! The ribs fall off the bone, the brisket melts in your mouth and the turkey has so much flavor your taste buds won’t know what to do! Dont get me started on the pie…. make sure you get there early or pre-order they will run out of food before they close!!!

10/10 customer service. Food was amazing. We got the pork belly sandwhich, brisket, beans and pie. The beans were amazing. Smokey, sweet, tangy. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Best pork belly we’ve had at a BBQ joint. Highly recommend.
