I finally had a chance to visit Benri Sushi which is now located in the lower level of the Masonic Building in Marquette. It was a pleasant experience and the rolls were fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the duo’s appreciation for the product they serve. While the chef prepared our three rolls for take out, I had a chance to chat them up about how and why they sourced their ingredients and received very detailed answers. This is nice to hear when you are consuming a sometimes raw product. Having lived and dined in NYC, Chicago, and the Twin Cities, this place leaves little to be desired. The proof of the pudding is in the eating; this pudding is quite good. This will become a regular for us.

Amazing sushi, amazing people….what more could you ask for? This duo truly appreciates what the art of sushi is all about–the protein. They only get the best, freshest ingredients. The large roll was perfect for my fiance to fill up on! Iloved it, and will definitely be coming back.

This is hands down the BEST place you can get sushi in Marquette. Great customer service.. they let my friend and I try out different types of fish before we decided on what to buy. They were fast and very friendly. Filling and absolutely delicious!!! I have returned many times. Call ahead and get here early if you want to try it out

WOW. I tried to leave a review on the Facebook page and was harassed by a woman affiliated with the restaurant (social media manager). She tried to claim that I had a fake facebook account and that she knew who I was (which is straight up crazy) They do not take criticism well apparently. AVOID this restaurant. They attack customers if you give them honest criticism. Also, it’s overpriced for okayish sushi. I am now blocked from their facebook page all because I left a critical review.

Went there at 1150 am and they sent us away having no rice. Pretty weird cconsidering they opened at 1130am. Very inconvenient and unprofessional to open at all if that was the case. Only reason I’m giving 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option.
