My husband and I spent our childhood two hours from the border of Mexico. Often times our parents would take us across for authentic Mexican food.
Benny’s Tacos was an experience that took us back to those childhood memories of the very best Mexican food. We have decided that this will be the place we go whenever our palettes are craving a taste of authenticity.
The service was terrific! Everyone was so nice! The atmosphere was light and everyone was glad to be there.
They have the sports channel on but the volume is low enough to have a conversation while still high enough not to miss those important plays.
If you are in the area, don’t miss the opportunity to eat at Benny’s!!

I ordered the green chili bowl, I specifically asked if it had pork in it and the lady said yes. When I poured the green chili over my burrito there were no visible signs of pork or green chilies. I love green chili but this was more like a vegetarian version or something not sure, for 10.50$ um way to much money for what I received. Very disappointing.

Service is always good, always a clean place, and the food is always seasoned very well.

I had the asada street tacos and they did not disappoint! They were fantastic and the avocado on top is a great touch!

My buddy had the pastor street tacos and he said the seasoning was on point.

Always a good experience here. Will be back!

Their food was fresh made, tastey, and over priced. Some how for an adult and two kids meals the bill was $45. Most Mexican restaurants include chips and salsa with the meal, but I don’t mind a nominal charge, $4.50 for 1 bowl of chips seems extreme. As I looked through the bill it became clear that the food was about 30% more expensive than comparable restaurants. All this and their suggested tip was 20% as I’m ordering from a counter. After all that I was positive at least the portions would be large, I was mistaken.

Was super excited to try this place ordered the Camarones a la diabla for $16.99 before tax. Was completely disappointed when I opened my food there was barely anything in there I’ve gotten kids meals with bigger portions than this. Won’t order from again. Just wrong.

Oh Bennys Tacos… where do I even begin. This is the best Al pastor taco I’ve ever had in my life. And this is coming from someone who has had street tacos in Mexico City, in a hole in the wall (a literal hole in the wall) where 5 dudes were crammed in and served me Al pastor. I’m an out of state college student and everytime I’m back home I make it necessary to make a visit to Benny’s. The tacos here make me feel emotions I haven’t felt since my last girlfriend and I broke up. Not sure who Benny actually is but his tacos are tremendous.

This place is amazing!! So delicious and cozy environment. If you love Carnitas, or any kind of taco this is the place for you. Reasonably priced as well. Just try it!

Expensive for small portions, charged me more than price on menu. Chicken chunks were small and hard inside my street taco.

Portions are small, prices are extreme, 4.50 for a basket of chips. Cheapest thing you will get is about $14 and nothing under $15 comes with beans and rice. They push for a tip and suggest 20% which is a no go for me. My tip should be in included in the price of the food if I’m paying $15 flat out for tostadas with no beans and rice and obviously no chips. The food tastes okay but I can’t make this place a regular unless I hit the lottery big, lose my appetite and replace my taste buds ‍♂️

I guess I was surprised walking in. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a seated restaurant. You order at the counter and pay and then find a table. At least during lunch time.
