I did not even know Rushville had a pizza place wow! We were recommended by a friend to try it out the next time we were in town. Let me tell you this business did not disappoint! You seat yourselves when you walk in. Super friendly staff. We ordered the Bosco Sticks w/ Cheese inside and the daily meal deal of an XL Pizza get a small pizza for free. We got the all meat and it was glorious! All three items we ordered were cooked to perfection. Nice warm crisp crust. The right amount of sauce and toppings. Brought out in a timely fashion. We were in around 5:30-6-ish, the seating area was not crowded, however the phone was ringing left and right for delivery or pickup orders. Hopefully my review will spread the word of how amazing this place is. It just moved to my #1 spot in Italian Pizza Places. So… if you ever find yourself going through Rushville, be sure to look this up and stop in. You won’t regret it! 5⭐️’s!

I have been aware of Benny’s in Beardstown for a long time but never tried it. After talking to friends about the recently opened Benny’s in Rushville I took my wife and my two youngest granddaughters there for an after auction meal.
My wife ordered chicken sandwich (which she said was ok but nothing special), the girls, ages 3 and 5 shared fettuccine alfredo (which they loved) and I ordered the many meat pizza. Italian bread came with something we ordered but I have no idea how good it was because the girls ate it all before I could try it. Apparently the girls enjoyed it.
Back to my pizza. I have eaten a lot of pizzas – frozen pizzas, homemade pizzas, chain restaurant pizzas, tavern pizzas, and Italian restaurant pizzas. I am no expert, but I have a lot of pizza miles under my belt. The expectations for Benny’s was high. The reality a letdown. I thought it was ok. But I had a few pieces left and I took them home for a snack. Surprise! The next day I heated up the leftovers and away from the the expectations my friends had laid out it was quite good.
Definitely will return for a 2nd chance at Benny’s.

They make their own pizza sauce and it’s awesome! This is a place that doesn’t skimp makes it legit and it’s chill and nice family small town atmosphere. Truly a gem in the field.

I’ve been here most times I visit town. Food is usually great! Definitely recommend a pizza or pizza type item. Very family friendly! The Bosco sticks are the bomb!

A real gem. The pizza tastes very close to what I grew up with near Chicago. A real treat. The Italian sausage sub was excellent. I did have onions and green peppers added to the sub.
