The pizza here is delicious! We love the garlic knots too. However we will never return to this restaurant, the service was the horrendous. The waitress was so unkind and defensive despite us being patient with her lack of effort. There were only two tables of people to serve so they were not busy. In the dining room, but she never once offered refills and the pizza took over an hour then only one pizza came out. When we inquired about the timing of the next one she replied I don’t cook the pizza and stomped off. We watched lots of pizza go out for to gos which is great and I understand being busy so we waited another 10 mins then went up to the counter to ask again. We were treated with contempt for asking. So I then asked for the manager who did come to the table but unfortunately his customer service skills were not any better. He made excuses, blamed us, and never once apologized instead he berated us for complaining. . He did say it should be ready soon. He then proceeded to return to the kitchen where we could hear the conversation about us. They used some very unkind and inappropriate adjectives and said how rude we were for complaining that we had to wait 45 mins for the 2nd pizza. And then we watched him make the pizza that we had ordered which had obviously never been put in. My husband at this point said we don’t want the rest of the pizzas we would just to pay the bill and leave. As we were exiting the restaurant after paying the full bill the manager began talking about us to the one other table in the restaurant. We were dumbfounded. We still don’t understand how he justified treating us so badly and blaming us for asking about our order or for being frustrated that half the tables order came and 45 mins later the other half still didn’t have food.
So, I suggested enjoying this pizza but as a to-go order only.

It is a cute and charming place. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The price is very reasonable and food quality is excellent. Tge quantity is also big. I also loved their bread!it is a gem, and I would highly recommend this place.

We purchased two xl stuffed crust pizzas for take out. When the pizzas arrived, the size and make were spot on for the price. Then we ate. OMG!! Best pizza I’ve had since Chicago deep dish! Really wish they had a store in Springfield!

On 4/09/2022 around 4 or 5pm I called to find out if they deliver and when they no longer delivered. A young lady did not know but she ask. I heard a man say “As long as we are open, we deliver “. I said great, I also ask about getting a bacon cheeseburger pizza in a stuffed crust, again the young lady ask again. The male voice stated, “we can put anything in a stuffed crust.” I said great, I would call back and order, could I call an early delivery order? I was told yes. I called back and ordered for delivery a lg stuffed bacon cheeseburger pizza, an order of Tiramisu and Bogo? Cheese sticks. Total $42.75, delivery at 10pm to my address. The card reader was not working so I had to write a check, adding $5 for tip. 10pm came and went, 1030, 1045 I called and spoke to the “owner”, he said “yes, but it was a family business.” I told him who I was and was wondering when we could expect our order? This man snapped at me saying “are you calling from Ohio?” I kinda chuckled and said no sir I live right here in Beardstown, again gave him my address, he in turn said “let me have you talk to the driver so he will be able to find you”. I thanked him. The driver had no clue! I have lived in this town for 2yrs, 911 gave us our address. After I had hung up I called right back because now it has been an hour. I ask the man who was the owner if I was getting a fresh order or am I getting cold food that’s been given the royal tour of Beardstown? This OWNER YELLED AT ME “LOOK LADY I HAVE ALREADY BEEN HERE 11& 1/2 hrs. Their hours say they are open til midnight on Saturday. My response to him was,”So, that’s not my fault, I just want hot food”. He said he would not be delivering to us as we do not live at 800 West 12th St., I gave him instructions on how to get here! I ask “ if he knew where Caseys was?” He said “yes” , I ask “the car wash across the street?””yes” I then said,”if you turn right at the car wash, you will see my house on the left side, my porch light is on, I will be standing in the door watching for you.” He yelled at me again that” that was not an address and they would not deliver to us!” So I simply said “ let me make this easy for you. How’s about we never order another friggin’ from you again!” His reply “Good”. Then he started back tracking saying they were doing the best that they could…”. By that time this man had been so rude to me I just hung up!!! My address is 800 West 12th St, Beardstown IL 62618, we live in a double wide mobile home on the corner of 12th St and Garm Ave. That is our home across the street.So folks my advice order at your own risk!! We will not! That man owes me a HUGE APOLOGY! Even at that we will not spend our money in a place that is so blatantly rude and made no attempt to show any kind of sorrow for the things he said to me. I cannot imagine why ANYONE would spend their money there.This is our house we are the Miles! We do live on the corner of 12th St and Garm Ave. Benny’s is very disappointing…

We were in Beardstown for a baseball tournament and needed food between games. We found Benny’s on Google Maps and figured we give them a try. The food was very good! The pizza and lasagna were both great! The staff and the person we figured was the owner were super friendly. They took great care of us. Highly recommend Benny’s!

Benny’s is the OG imo. I was raised in the area and every time I come back to visit, it’s not complete without a Benny’s pizza. Not a lot of local restaurants survive in this small town, but Benny’s has been consistent and amazing as long as I can remember it.
