Definitely a 5 ⭐ place in my book… I gave it four only because it’s a bit of a drive from where I generally hang out. Everyone I’ve met thus far at this place has the same good vibe, down home mentality. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and makes me feel like I could probably lose my sober ride home, lose my keys, find a few new friends, and from what I can tell be okay to drive myself home in the morning when this crowd realizes I’m okay to drive home after I sleep it off… Meaning it’s like being in my neck of the woods with people I’ve only met twice!!! So much genuine love for this place that I’ve only experienced twice…SO FAR… If you miss this hole in the wall… Then you’re missing home way too much.
P.S. Big shout out to the best and only bartender I’ve had the pleasure of meeting thus far, but if they are all like you Honey, I’d want you serving me every night!

The best food! Tacos, ribs, wings, burgers and more! This is a great place for live music and playing pool. They have pool tournaments on the weekends. Friendly bartenders too. Benny is one nice guy too. He will even fix your broken boot!

About everything you would expect in this size of town. Bartender was friendly and accommodating. Patrons were pretentious and at times obnoxious. They apparently forget they are from batesville. We had the pizza. It was okay. Frozen and filling. Best I can say. The beers were well priced and they have nice pool tables. The facilities were clean and usable. Always a plus. I was expecting outhouses, the regulars thought they were the Kennedys. They were pretty enough, a few less teeth. But hey to each their own.

Driving back to Cincinnati from Michigan, we decided to try Bennys for a late lunch. A very short drive off of I-74, we were pleasantly surprised. From Devin behind the bar to Benny the owner and other patrons, everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent! I had a cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the pulled pork. All I can say is WOW!!! We will be back again!

Fabulous bartenders!!! They are each friendly, fun, accommodating, remember which drinks you like, but they follow the law so have your IDs ready to show if you are new or young. Treat them respectfully!

Had a blast out at Bennys on a Sunday night with a girlfriend from work! As a bartender/bar manager myself, i wasnt out looking for a crowd of people. More the opposite! Needed a nice, mellow, fun night out after dealing with the stress of running a bar all weekend! I was out with a friend from work and we shot pool, played darts,and jammed the juke box! Had a BLAST!
