The place lives up to the hype. The variety is amazing. The food is all fresh and constantly being refreshed. The best part was the service. Serena is absolutely the best… be sure to request to be seated with her

Had lunch at Bennett’s Calabash Seafood, we had never stopped in there. It was the only seafood joint in that section that was open for lunch today.

We found it very clean and service was attentive, although food was 6/10.

Nothing was bad, but entree selection wasn’t the best Ive seen. No grilled seafood or grilled beef items. They had some beef tenderloin strips that didnt look very appealing. Most of the things I tried were way over seasoned. The wife said the crab legs were good. I enjoyed the fried flounder best. Sampled a bit of everything between the two of us, nothing truly shined, but again, nothing was bad. Salad bar was well stocked and a good dessert section.

With a coupon for $6 off we ended up spending $88 before tax and tip. I would have felt better around $30 per person with the food quality we found. Our last seafood buffet meal at Crabby George’s was better, although slightly more expensive.

Just sharing our experience.

Wow, it was a sumptuous meal at the Bennett Calabash Seafood Buffet, I enjoyed every bite. We actually came from Summerville to Mirtle Beach to come and have a taste. I can categorically say, the food is well cooked, the prime ribs is juicy, the crab’s legs are good but the first portion I eat was not salted, I love shrimps so I ate almost all the different types that was prepared. All the shrimps taste delicious but I love the shrimps salad the most and the dessert is very nice too. I will actually come back.

This place is amazing! We came before 4 and had a coupon (found on the website) so two of us ate the full buffet for $40.99 each, and we had one person who ate the vegetarian buffet for only $20. The food was great, a wide variety of dishes and I think a decent price considering that they have crab legs on the buffet. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and the service was surprisingly good, especially considering it’s a buffet. I wish I could remember our server’s name but she was awesome! We will definitely be back

Eric was stellar and took the most beautiful pictures of my daughter and me. Thank you Eric for creating photos to capture cherished memories for a lifetime. Our waitress Fab was awesome. She took time to make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. She understood our every need. Everything was so delicious and healthy while tasting superb at the same time. We highly recommend Bennet’s!

If you love seafood and Southern-style cooking this Buffet is definitely worth a visit. The selection is huge — from crab legs, shrimp, and oysters to fried grouper, hush puppies, and fresh sides. Everything tastes freshly prepared and seasoned with that classic Carolina flavor.
The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, and the staff is attentive, keeping plates cleared and making sure the buffet stays full. The crab legs are the highlight — hot, juicy, and easy to crack. Desserts are a nice surprise too, especially the banana pudding and cheesecake bites.
Prices are on the higher side, but you’re really paying for the variety and “all you can eat” experience. It can get busy during dinner hours, so going early helps avoid the crowd.

Beatrice was our waitress. She was friendly professional and made my first experience here wonderful . I’m from fort Wayne Indiana and this is my first visit. The bang bang shrimp was so delicious and I had grilled pineapple for the first time. Nothing but good things to say today thank you for the experience, now I shall roll away into the sunset ☺️

We had an amazing experience at Bennetts Calabash Seafood #2. We went to celebrate Aunt Bobbie’s 95th birthday, because she loves the crab legs, they are the best!! We tried the grilled pineapple and if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. It is so delicious!! If you love, shrimp and grits, Wow, the best! The grilled Pineapple and the Shrimp and Grits with be at the top of our list for a return visit to Bennett ‘s.. I want to thank our server and also Lily for making our visit to Bennett ‘s a special birthday celebration.
