I try hard not to say anything negative when I review so, I will keep this to a minimum.
If you are gonna spend this much money for dinner – go somewhere else. Disappointing to say the least. For me and my 2 children (with coupons from the Monster books applied) it was $105.00. Then tip.
I’m still upset I spent that much money on such bad food.

Very nice experience. The food was very good. The price was high but it’s worth every penny. The waitress was great with refilling drinks. The bathrooms were clean. The deserts were fresh and tasty . The crab legs were hard to get because they ran out so fast. They were well cooked and they had all the tools to crack everything open. They had great baskets to put your shells and stuff away. We also had a $7 off coupon which was great. It came off per person also. The staff kept the buffet full and fresh. The plates and silverware were nice and clean. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves seafood and wants to try all kinds of things .

We decided to go to this particular calabash because it’s either this one or the original Benjamin’s calabash. We chose this one because it was closer to where we were staying, he simply wanted crab legs and I simply wanted hush puppies. The other location mentioned does have a much bigger food selection but this one covers different food types for everyone as well in a smaller capacity. We were seated quickly and the service was really nice, the woman was super friendly. The food was good and they do refresh the food often so we were very happy about that. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would return.

To say that we are disappointed that would be least about that place. We chose this buffet after reading lots of good reviews. But we are greatly concerned about the cleanliness of this restaurant and the quality of the food. I grabbed a couple of steamed oysters, and one side of the oyster was covered in mud. The manager did not care at all. She offered to bring a plate of clean oysters to our table. And wet napkin to wipe the hands. Thank you, but no, if the kitchen even doesn’t bother to rinse the food before cooking and serving it. We would definitely stay away from this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

We came from out of town and heard this place was on the most recommended list in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina. ANNNDDDDD this place lived up to the ratings!!! I’m so glad we came. The seafood is delicious fried chicken was the best I had in a while.. My husband isn’t a seafood lover but he enjoyed the steak and ribs and the Mac & cheese. We came on a Thursday night and it was very chill and the music was great. Customer service was great and the place is very clean. I love the green bathroom floor too!!! Definitely will come back. Thanks for the warm hospitality!!!!

This was great! I have eaten at many of the calabash buffets here in Myrtle Beach. Hadn’t been to Bennett’s for quite a few years as we weren’t happy the last couple of times. Well, turns out two of them were sold to others. But the one on 2900 North Kings highway is operated by the previous owners of all 3. It was great. Not a gigantic selection but more than enough to choose from. No big piles of soggy crab legs. Service was great. Portions (especially desserts) were made so you could sample all of them without waste. We were there in October. Will have to try this coming summer to see how it is when busy. Oh, and price beat everybody. With early bird coupon only $38 or $39.

At first we thought it was a bit pricey for a buffet. But the All-you-can-eat buffet includes salad, meat, seafood, and dessert bars. I had a ribeye steak and a plate of crab legs. It was around 8pm and some of the crab legs were soft, harder to crack. Service was on point. Buffet lines were easy to maneuver and well explained.

This was my first visit to Bennett’s Calabash in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The buffet was loaded with a wide selection of seafood, steaks ribs, and salads. The serving staff was exceptional, friendly and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was truly pleasant. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach, you have to make Bennett’s Calabash one of your stops.

Our server Dave was absolutely amazing. His humor and charm made the experience absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The food was great, atmosphere was wonderful, and Dave was quite entertaining. If you spend any time in Myrtle Beach, I recommend stopping in at least one time for dinner.
