Our server was super friendly and helpful, but the food was average. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t special. My chicken was cooked correctly. My friend’s ribs and brisket were OK, but a bit dry. Nice selection of sauces. But nothing really worth going back for. There are better BBQ choices nearby,.

As a native Texan I am excited to see a BBQ place I recognized. The portions are large, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was excellent, my friend ordered the smoke sausage: the skin was tough and it looked like regular store bought sausage, nothing special there. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Monday: All you can eat brisket with sides (beans, slaw, garlic bread and fries) for 15 bones. What more can you want on a Monday? Good place. Not crowded. Service a little slow but still good though.

Their BBQ sauces are really good. The brisket & pulled pork is melt in you’re mouth yummy. The chicken & ribs were overcooked & dry, my only complaint. Staff is great & service is fast. Try the smoked BBQ baked beans.

Not the best BBQ you will ever eat in your life, yes, however their portions are big, their service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. For the money, you cannot beat this place! They also have a loyalty card which is a perk for people like me who go fairly often .

Worst brisket I’ve ever had. I’ve been there twice. As a native Texan, I’m ashamed to even see the TX flag on their sign. Both times I tried the brisket. First time mine was cut from the point. It was moist, as it should be, but no bark and no smoke ring…that explains the lack of smoke flavor. Second time I asked for a cut from the flat (leaner cut). It was so dry I couldn’t chew it. Again, no smoke flavor and the obvious absence of a smoke ring. It was so dry, I was surprised again that there wasn’t any bark either. Too bad, as I work around the corner from there every week day. I won’t be going back.

Avoid. Go to brothers down the street. I got a half pound of pulled pork and a quarter of the sausage. Almost choked to death on the skin of the sausage and the pork was not edible. Just chopped up old dry meat. Not even pulled. My order was to go and the staff were great but the food is a true fail. Go to brothers if you want decent barbecue in the area.

I grew up going to Bennets BBQ in DTC at the old location, and we are so thrilled to have them back in town. The portion sizes are extremely generous, and the beans, garlic bread, ribs and brisket all taste exactly the same as they did 20 years ago. Highly recommend if you want a true Texas style BBQ

One of the worst baked potatoes I’ve ever had! I order a baked potato through a local deliver service (Foodsby) and what I received was a partially cooked, painfully dry potato heaped with unseasoned chicken, a sprinkle of cheese and a smearing of sour cream. Included for an extra .50 cent was the world’s driest roll (perhaps you should consider butter when including a roll this hard and dry). The potato itself is huge but uneatable so a complete waste of money. I would have done better to have driven to Wendy’s and purchased a potato… a lot less money and a lot more flavor.

The food was mediocre. I ordered a BBQ sampler-like plate and the brisket looked like a dog had chewed it up and spit it back out. The waitress admitted that something was wrong and told me, “I’ll get you some actual brisket. I hope you didn’t eat that.”
