We ordered cheese burger and fries takeout with carrot cake and apple crumb desserts. We don’t recommend. The fries are especially unless you like soggy bland mush.

We had chicken sandwiches, burgers,chicken fingers, and mushrooms. The food was good. Service was OK. The waitress ended up being very nice. Price was fair. If you try this place when it’s busy, you will wait forever. I believe the kitchen makes one plate at a time so slow. Looked to be staffed ok, but they lack good management. I’m not sure what the problem is in the kitchen. This place could be so good and make so much money, but owners just don’t care. The food is very good .

I came here after a long float trip so I was tired and ready to eat. They got us to our table pretty quick after a short wait. However, it took us 20 minutes to receive our drinks and another 40 minutes to recieve our food. The place was very clean and nice. But, they were very understaffed and struggling to keep up with tables. When I received my food it was okay but their French fries seemed very bland.

The food is good. Noting out of this world. The service was good, and the atmosphere was awesome. Nice place if you’re there. It’s more about being in the area than going to the restaurant for me.

The food is okay but nothing to write home about. We had 3 different sandwiches and they all seem to be made with packaged frozen proteins. Crispy chicken sandwich uses the pressed and shaped frozen patty variety, grilled chicken sandwich has the artificial grill marks, and the Frisco Melt burger, although probably the best out of the three, still seemed to come from a box of frozen patties. The blackberry cobbler with ice cream was a pretty good. Would like to see some fresher ingredients all around but I suppose there’s not too much competition in the area so you get what you get. The credit card machine went down when trying to pay the tab which added on another 20 or so minutes when trying to settle up to leave. Recommend having some cash on you. They seem to have trouble with equipment failing causing the restaurant to close which was the case the two previous times we tried going there.

Servers are good, but not great. Food was underwhelming. $17 for under par chicken strips- not worth paying $60 for 3 people. You will pay a lot eating here unless you go barebones. But also, I enjoyed the plating of the food. It has its ups and downs, I just wish the menu wasn’t so expensive for the quality of food you receive. Their brown beans are something out of a county jail’s slophouse and their fries were limp and soggy/undercooked. Sure, it’s THE Bennet Spring Dining Lodge, which gives it some value alone. Just wish the cooks and managers would have more pride for what that means for most people. I would say I was served $10 worth of food for $60.

Over an hour for food. Tables after us were served 30 mins before us. The forgot our order. They claimed they put it under the wrong table number. Our table was next to the kitchen door. All the servers and managers walked by us dozens of times no apologies for the wait no assurance our food was coming we had to complain after 75 mins to get food. Then no offer for a discount or a comp. And the server didn’t know how to run the card machine took 10 mins just to pay. We had a 2 year old and a 10 year old. Who were starving. Food was decent. And im sure the other customers had a great experience.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming via the interior of the building. I went there Tuesday June 6th, 2023 for breakfast. That was a big mistake. Pancakes hard, hashbrowns raw in the middle and burnt on outside, omelet was undercooked and runny, biscuits were hard and the gravy was like a watery soup, sausage patties were dry and looked old. The service was extremely rude and they didn’t care if our food was good or not. The bill was over $27. I do not recommend eating here. Don’t waste your money or time. This place should be shut down.
