I was on my way to the taco spot next door and realized they sold burgers at this small window! The hospitality was amazing very attentive and made sure I was happy with my final product! I ordered a cheesy and fries food tasted amazing

This is the best cheeseburger I’ve had in all of lakeland. I got the deluxe burger and it came with 2 smash patties, small potato chips, purple onion, tomato, lettuce, and sauces. The sauces are homemade (garlic sauce and a cilantro sauce) which was the perfect seasoning. I loved everything about it. It wasn’t too greasy, seasoned perfectly, and the textures were perfect!
The chef/owner was very nice, he has been a chef for 20 years and you can tell. I can’t wait to go back and try the chop chop bowl

Went into this with ZERO knowledge of the final product. Well….. When I ordered the “loaded fries”… I had an image in my head. THIS WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE!! But let me tell you, I am surprised. The flavor works. Extremely fresh ingredients. I will be back to try different items. Thank you to everyone that have posted pictures.
UPDATE… Make sure you have someone to share this with. You are not finishing it alone and I do not believe this will do well as left overs.

Chef Benji’s is awesome. I have eaten there a couple of times. Chef asks “what can I get you” and I always go with the “surprise me”. He remembers I don’t do cheese so he’s got me. 1st time a steak hoagie and last time a double smash burger. Fresh toppings, seasoned just right. Homemade garlic sauce, bringing the Latin flavors to whatever you get. Makes your food fresh when ordered. Go for the fries, they have a unique taste that will leave you wanting another order.
The portions are great and a much better deal, cost wise compared to other places. Benji’s Fresh Food is a great new addition to Lakeland. I will continue to eat here and share to all my friends and family.

Benji’s is truly a hidden gem!! From the moment I walked up to the window, I could tell this was going to be great. Chef Benji was awesome and caring.
I ordered the Deluxe smash double burger. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! So juicy and fresh. Green and white sauce made every bite burst with flavor.
What also impressed me is how clean and organized the truck was.
Their wide selection of burgers, sandwiches and bowls mean there’s something for everyone.
This is food made with heart.

Food was fresh and fast for being cook to order. Price for the quality of food is unrivaled. I’ve only been once and I ordered the Smokey Burger with fries but it was one hell of a first impression. Looking forward to going back to try other menu items! Also looking forward to when the construction around the business goes away, I hate to see small businesses suffer from that.
