I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes, shrimp, and rice after my roommate got it first—and my nose does not lie. The aroma alone told me I made the right choice. The seasoning and flavor were incredible.
The delivery arrived right on time, and at $35 with a $5 tip, it was absolutely worth it. The salmon was perfectly cooked—juicy and full of flavor. The shrimp were tender, soft, and melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes and rice were cooked just right and paired perfectly with the meal.
On top of that, the delivery was excellent—such an amazing person and great service. I’d give this 5 out of 5 thumbs up—all thumbs, no hesitation.

my husband and i found this spot on google and the reviews were great so decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did! first impression – the owner of the food place was SO kind. he went over what options he had on the menu, and told us what each thing was and just went out of his way the entire time we were there! the food was FANTASTIC as well!!!! my husband got the meat plate and couldn’t stop raving about the sauce and i got the chicken alfredo toast and we shared the chocolate bread pudding!! the portions were very large, you definitely pay for the amount you receive!! everything was just sooo yummy. the owner continually checked on us and even kept calling me by name (which is small but truly makes a difference) and was a true down to earth gentleman! if you eat here and think it was just as phenomenal as we did, consider leaving a google review!!! if it wasn’t for the reviews and pictures we probably wouldn’t have even though twice about trying it but WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!!!

I heard Benji’s BBQ opened up again, I loved it before the pandemic happened. So I went over and he was doing beef ribs so I was able to get myself three of them, holy moly!!! These things were delicious! The flavor was amazing, I don’t know what seasoning he used and then he had a sauce that went with it that looked so simple and had so many different flavors to it. Absolutely amazing. I’m so excited to go and buy another one, I thought my favorite kind of meats were baby back ribs and brisket but this beef short rib is my newest and most favorite piece of meat now. Dude is such a nice guy, I appreciate the friendliness from him and his staff.

Hey People!!! Benji’s is an ABSOLUTE MUST STOP! I am even considering making a return road trip JUST for this food… I would absolutely drive thousand plus miles because this BBQ is over the top good!! Top quality meat with perfect balance of juicy meat, crispy edges, and flavorful smokeyness!! The meat was so tender it pulled apart effortlessly! The sides were some of the best home cooking you’ve had! The CORNBREAD!! Wow! Perfect amount of fluffy and moist packed with flavor! The baked beans have two kinds of beans to add texture, with a sweet sauce balanced well with a bit of tangy deliciousness! The mac and cheese (smack and cheese) had spiral noodles that were perfect to contain the ooey-gooet cheese! A ton of flavor in the mac and cheese, noodles cooked perfect and the cheese had a bit of pepper/garlic flavor. But what topped off this already amazing place was the service! Everyone was super kind and professional!! The owner, Benji is one intelligent and talented businessman who can cook like no one’s business!!

In my 30 years of dining at barbecue restaurants in the state an area of Salt Lake City, I can honestly say this is some of the best brisket I have had… really good competition pork, ribs, and delicious sides. Every community should have that go to spot and I know that I have found mine when it’s time to get my Q on! Great friendly staff, and Benji is a personable face of the organization.

We had come to find out about Benji’s from Facebook and discovered it was in our neighborhood. We stopped in for dinner last night and we had a wonderful time. Benji greeted us and offered us a sample of brisket and a rib. We were hooked and immediately knew what we were having! We got ribs, pulled pork and the brisket to share with collard greens as the side. It was all fantastic and we enjoyed talking with Benji and his staff. He is very knowledgeable and passionate regarding his craft. We plan to return next week to try the chicken.

Hands down some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I’m picky when it comes to how meat is prepared, and I’m currently pregnant, and not enjoying it much at all. BUT! I could eat Benji’s for every meal. The brisket is absolutely delicious, and not overly greasy or oily which I was so impressed with. The Mac & cheese has a smokey creamy taste that is unlike anything I’ve ever had. Also! Everyone was SO nice and personable. If you want to support local, and have the best BBQ ever, Benji’s does not disappoint. Pregnant lady approved.
