Loved the decor of the place and atmosphere. Our waitress was nice but the food was midgrade. Our shrimp had hardly any seasoning on them and the melted butter had no flavor. I’m pretty sure it was margarine. My tenderloin was ok. It wasn’t something I’d go back for and I must say I’ve had better at Texas Roadhouse. I totally would like to go back when it’s less busy and give it another try. It could have just been a busy off night. Id love to go back and look at the cute decor as outside was full and we didn’t get to enjoy that part of the restaurant.

It was our first time eating here, and it was a Sunday, and we hadn’t realized it was more of a brunch menu. It wasn’t what we had in mind, but we decided to give it a try. It was good, although I thought it was a bit pricey for breakfast, but my portion was generous. We’ll return when we can try the regular menu. Overall, the atmosphere on the patio was pleasant, and the waitress was very friendly.

As someone who has been in the Forest area for nearly 30 years, I’d prefer Benjamin’s stay a hidden gem. But for the local owners and family, you absolutely should eat here. The staff is always friendly, the food is amazing (bacon jam brussel sprouts are ), and drinks are perfect.

Locals, you already know…
Others, try them out and tip well. These people are amazing.

Our go-to date night! Love the live music Fridays. Food is always great and service on point. The salmon on a plank is delicious and I could eat the Brussels as a main course. The burgers are always amazing as well.

Birthday dinner at Benjamin’s was an overall success. Redneck nachos were a great starter for three people. The pulled pork was very flavorful.

The entrees were a mix. The chicken was good and the Virginia wagyu burger was elite…to the point that’s probably what I’ll get the next time we eat here. On the other hand the shrimp and lobster dish was a bit bland. The shrimp wasn’t seasoned well and didn’t mesh well with the rest of the dish. We’ll stick with something other than seafood next time

In town for the 2024 World Disc Golf Championship, and this place was recommended. Very cool looking place, with a little bar and sitting area inside and 2 larger outdoor areas out back. Service was really good. Food was good, real solid, nothing exceptional, but the berry cobbler, that was amaz-balls! Would definitely go back for that! Looks like they might have local music from time to time. Good place.

Huge servings for very reasonable pricing! Everything was delicious, service was fast and friendly, and the outdoor seating was perfect. I hadn’t had a footlong hotdog since I was a kid and it was everything I could have wanted and more. 🙂

First time visiting this quaint restaurant. It is very unassuming from the outside, and you could pass it in the blink of an eye. The inside is small, however they have a large patio that is partially covered. The scenery is lovely to look at, and there are cute plants everywhere (which I loved).

I had the brown sugar salmon with Brussels and slaw, and my mom had a burger with garlic Spinach. Both of our dishes were somewhat bland, and my salmon lacked flavor throughout. We did have a Carmel cake for dessert, and that was phenomenal!

Overall, the service was great, and the food was eh. I might come back again if I’m in the area.
