If you’re looking to get ripped off, this is the place for you. $10 for a basic breakfast sandwich that contained shreds of pork roll. I’ve never in my life seen pork roll cut so ridiculously thin and then only two slivers of it that don’t even cover half of the sandwich. This place is obviously out to rip off tourists. I live right around the corner and will never return or recommend. I would have been better off with a gas station sandwich. To top it off, the eggs are PREMADE (as told by the employee) and you cannot order a fresh cracked egg. The bagels are also miniature sized and barely fill a toddler up.
Photo for proof of how ridiculous it is.
Don’t waste your money here!

Hotel ran out of coffee early. A daily occurrence and I have or have my coffee. On a whim I looked up best places and a list by Nora Battle came up. I’m sure all of them were good choices and she wrote great comments about each, but being a close local favorite for her and the mention of the bagels had me sold to make the 15 minute drive. I was not disappointed. The menu is great, place is busy but relaxed and just out of the way from the main road. I ended up getting the bagel to go because I had to try this sandwich, Surfside Beach. Outstanding and so was my mocha latte. Just great to enjoy while doing some reading and enjoying a beach view. Wish I lived here so I could go through the menu. We have a similar place where I live and love it. Clearly, like my place, if you want your choice of bagel, you better come early. The variety of cream cheeses were great! Not expensive for what you get. I think Myrtle Beach is one of my new vacation spots and I plan to frequent Benjamin’s again! Highly recommended!

Cute bakery in the heart of Surfside. Delicious bagels, pastries, sandwiches, coffee/ drinks, etc… service has always been impeccable. The only downside is it does get very crowded and cramped…but I guess that is just a testament to how good the food/service is.

I’d highly recommend this little café! The food is delicious! This was my second trip to Benjamin’s this week, so I had to leave a review. Everything we got was delicious. You can’t go wrong! This time, I got a plain bagel with pork roll, egg and cheese. We also got a variety of baked goods. The place was extremely busy but the staff were VERY friendly and super fast at getting the food out! They put Chick-fil-A to shame with how their staff worked together to get everyone taken care of and quick! I never saw anyone just standing around. They make sure to greet/ notice when you come in. With how busy they were, that impressed me! Next time I’m in Surfside I’ll be back for sure!

If you’re looking for a cute cafe in the Surfside area of Myrtle Beach, Benjamin’s Bagels is the perfect place to go! This was my first time going in person. My friend who is a Socastee native, has always brought me their bagels when I’m at work, and they’re always so delicious, so I’m glad I finally got the chance to go in person. From the exterior to the interior, this place has a lot of small town charm and the lively colors add an inviting element; similar to a Charleston vibe!
I had a croissant sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese, and sausage, and my brother had a chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious, and I also had an iced toasted marshmallow latte, which was the cherry on top.
Finally, I ordered a classic glazed “dossant” (donut x croissant) to go, and my brother had a mango smoothie as well, which were both the perfect end to our brunch. If you’re ever in the Socastee/Surfside area and are craving a good brunch, make sure to grab some bagels or dossants at Benjamin’s! It was surely worth the 30 minute drive for me!

We have been a coffee bean customer of this cafe for years and wanted to call them out for EXCELLENCE!
First, the coffee beans are absolutely FRESH AND DELICIOUS. We buy a lot of beans and Benjamin’s is an absolute favorite. Carolina Gold and Brazil beans are must try for drip, pour-over and espresso.
Second, you will never get better service from a business than these guys. Very kind and highly responsive gets the highest marks and means a lot. Bobbie runs a wonderful operation and we appreciate her greatly.
⭐⭐⭐ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐⭐⭐

This place was fantastic! Everything was made fresh and in-house, and the Chai tea was sweet and creamy. We had the Surfside Beach and The Ricky Bobby, as well as a Bavarian cream-filled donut for dessert. The place was a third full when we entered, but it was full and spilling out onto the sidewalk when we left. Very popular, which is always a good sign. We left with two packs of fresh bagels, too. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

☆ Benjamin’s Bakery and Cafe is the absolute number one Bagel Spot to enjoy and the Surfside area. Their coffee is absolutely phenomenal. They roast the beans themselves. The bagels are crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside and last for 2 days. I had a Reuben that was phenomenal. Not too much meat and the bread was amazing. I ordered iced lattes every day that I was at the beach. I even bought one of their 30th Anniversary t-shirts. I absolutely love supporting local over chain restaurants any day and this is officially a favorite of ours. They have seating inside and outside the place is absolutely adorable the colors on the paint for the outside of the building are friendly and inviting. The staff there are friendly and fast.
