Hidden gem!! We found this place this year and we fell in love! The homemade bagels are seriously hands down the best! Our absolute favorite was Austin’s Choice! It’s a delicious breakfast sandwich on their homemade everything bagels! Wow was it good!! Another top item was the smoothies!! We loved it so much that we came back a second time on our trip and plan to visit again when we are back in town. Such an amazing place. Hidden gem for sure!

My family visits Surfside multiple times a year. Benjamin’s is the only place we will have breakfast. The food is fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing beach breakfast. Family favorites include: bagel with cream cheese, cinnamon roll (it’s HUGE and not too sweet), cheese danish, COFFEE, and breakfast sandwiches on homemade bread or bagel. You can’t wrong at Benjamin’s! It’s worth a trip (or two or three ).

Tucked back off of route 17, this small spot has great coffee, excellent pastries, and very good sandwiches. We stopped here for the first time during our vacation for a late lunch and came back the next morning on the way out of town for breakfast and bought some beans to take with us. Staff was really good, reasonably quick service and a wide variety of things to choose from. A busy looking place, menu is old-school on a chalkboard and lots of things around the perimeter of the dining area.

Oh my word! Such a delicious bagel sandwich. They make all the bagels in house and they are so very good. So many options. And the other baked goods and pastries are incredibly tantalizing as well! They also roast their own coffee and that was good too. All in all worth a trip. Not sure about gluten free options, but only because I didn’t ask or look. So if you need that be sure to double check. So so good! Can’t wait to go back!

Wow! Cool spot and amazing service. The owner offered a special Mother’s Day tour of the bakery and roastery that we thoroughly enjoyed. Food was great and the chai latte perfect. We had the Reuben, pork roll, crantastic sammy, and Italian. The breads were wonderful, as expected, and sandwiches very good overall. We will definitely return.

Nice little place to get coffee, pastries and food. I was really in the mood for a scone..it was good, but more like cake than a scone. The cinnamon roll was light but good also. The coffee was good, I ordered a light roast..it was a light roast, not watered down dark. Will definitely come back

DON’T ..be afraid of the long lines. It takes just a few moments in the order line. While you wait, you can read the menu and look around at all of the unique decor. Lots of old cameras to see for the photography enthusiasts! Once you place your order, you can sit yourself inside or wait outside on the patio, where they welcome your fur babies to dine with you. From the time you order, sit down, and start eating, it took less than 7 minutes to sink your teeth into deliciousness! Hubby ordered a breakfast burrito, and I had the Asiago Bagel with egg, sausage, and cheddar cheese. I washed it down with a small iced vanilla macchiato, with a splash of heavy whipping cream! Calories and carbs don’t count hear Everything was tasty, and my Bagel was toasted to perfection. We also purchased their homemade doggie cookies.. our doggo loved them! We will be back to try other things on the menue!

Cozy little spot. The staff was nice, the food was good, the coffee was hot. I would have given it 5 stars but I ordered a breakfast burrito with the meat on the side because I don’t eat meat and instead of meat on the side they ring it up as no bacon and then wanted to charge me for the side of bacon (which is included in the price of the burrito). Long story short, the hubs did not get a side of bacon, even though he paid for the burrito to have it. But honestly, as someone who doesn’t eat meat, this happens a lot at restaurants when you ask them to put the protein on the side so I don’t even argue about it. I just move on with my life because it’s not the end of the world. I’d still go back and maybe just get a bagel and cream cheese next time to simplify it, because the bagels were fantastic.
