Recently hosted my baby shower here and had a phenomenal experience! Every single thing was 10/10- food, service, atmosphere. The owners were extremely accommodating with all of my (annoying) requests and were present through the whole event to make sure everything ran smoothly. A lot of my guests are still reaching out to say how amazing the food and service were. Would 100% recommend hosting a party here!

Great place for a family meal. Everyone loved the food. We had mussels, calamari, and fresh mozzarella for appetizers. Entries ribeye steaks with mushroom sauce were fantastic, ladies enjoyed the salmon pasta dishes, kids loved their kids dishes. Desserts were delicious as well. Everything tasted absolutely fresh and well made. I’m definitely going back. It was not cheap, but food was worth it.

It was a good experience start to finish. The staff were welcoming, and friendly. Our host we even playful with good humored jokes. The atmosphere was nice as we were out doors. The staff was attentive but not over bearing. The food was great, I had the Tortellini Gorgonzola (with chicken). I may have been full but wanted more. I have a bite of the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was also delicious. I was very pleased and it capped off a great day. Thank you.

Enjoyed a wonderful price fixed lunch for $23.95 in a lovely setting with great service. BYOB. Started with the tri-coloure salad & some wonderful & plentiful bread. Veal marsala was my entree which was a fantastic serving & ended lunch with homemade tiramisu & coffee – really good. Definitely coming back here!

I have been to Benitos’s many times since 2014. I have always found the food to be very good. It is a cozy and pretty restaurant. Lots of tables. When the weather is warmer, you can enjoy sitting outside their lovely covered patio. They have a great lunch special during the week. Location is wonderful right in the center of Chester, NJ

Started with Brevada salad absolutely delicous. Next eggplant stuffed Parmasean appetizer prepared to perfection, Rigatoni bolonese was divine. Iorder the special which was succulent shrimp on top of bass swimming in a buttery cream garlic sauce accompanied by fresh French cut green beans and a small puffed potatoes. To die for ! My friend ordered chicken francais perfect with fresh green beans.We had to take our main meals to go as overindulgence cost us. But we had to try perfectly brewed coffee ☕ and the special Raspberry cheesecake which we spilt! The restaurant was packed for a Wednesday night. The weather was so nice most diners ate outside. John the owner was a classy host proud of his success. This is a MUST go . Make reservations to this elegant upscale gourmet restaurant .

Even there was a 10 star Google rating I would definitely give John and our server Daniel who was dressed up and classy 10 stars. All that food was under 150 for 2. Extremely reasonably for hand crafted designed meals . A picture tells words I cannot describe exactly what a wonderful experience we had!

Arrived at 5pm for dinner. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Restaurant seems a little dated but clean. At the table they give you warmed baguette with packet butter. The baguette isn’t really anything special and it was barely warm.
We ordered the Capellini Toscana and Linguine Siciliano. The pasta isn’t homemade which isn’t a deal breaker but overall the dishes were a tad boring. Basically the capellini toscana is like a salad. The garlic white wine sauce was super watery. The sauce could definitely use some rich elements since the pasta dish in itself is so basic. It’s just sundried tomatoes, spinach, and shiitake mushrooms.
The linguine siciliano was a bit better but also watery. 3 pieces of large shrimp and they used bigger clams instead of little neck. No grit which was great but the clams were heavy with ocean flavor. Oh and the parm cheese they offer before you eat looked like the prepackaged powdered parm rather than fresh grated parm.
Didn’t bother ordering dessert after seeing what the entrées were like.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant. We came for lunch and ordered the lunch special. They gave us a full bowl of tortellini soup that was delicious. The broth was very light, perfect for the December chill. Then was the main dish. My mother ordered veal parmesan and I ordered farfalle vodka with chicken. There was so much, we had to take home. For dessert, we had tiramisu which was light and fluffy. The staff were pleasant and attentive. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

5 stars because the food was delicious. 6 of us all enjoyed our meals very much and we had a wide variety from bolognese, to salmon, to chicken dishes. Service was excellent and the dessert selections were amazing (choose the key lime cheesecake over the mango – we all shared both). Always appreciate the BYO option as well as it keeps the price down a bit and we can bring our favorite wines. Definitely worth a visit and downtown Chester is a great little town to walk around and visit the shops. Snowing tonight so we headed home quickly after dinner to avoid the roads getting too bad. Go!
