We were all referred to Benito’s but it wasn’t what we thought it was going to be. We all got different food. My brisket tacos came soaked and the tortillas just fell apart. The meat cooked was very rough and hard. But it’s worth trying. Everyone has a different palate and might enjoy the different flavors. Parking is difficult at times in this area. It is a bit more expensive than other restaurants. It’s better to order a meal and not À la carte items.

I’ve been coming here since college at TCU circa 2006. This family owned business has the best housemaid pico ever. Their queso flameado is perfect appetizer with their tortillas and pico. I love their nachos covered in cheese. Husband loves their chile relleno. Highly recommend.

Great chips and salsa options, have a cold spicy and a fresh chopped salsa that has a nice bite…. Daughter and I shared the fajitas that were ok but expected better cut of beef to be used that wasn’t so chewy and tough. Charro beans are excellent and rice was very good. My wife had the nachos and really lined the white cheese they use. Will be back for sure. Server was slow in my opinion for not being very busy we saw her very few times for refills during the course of the meal. Could have been an off day for her?

the worst margarita i’ve ever had + the worst enchilada i’ve ever had = never coming back. our server was really rude – can’t order nachos without meat on them so i guess vegetarians are out of luck. or maybe they’re the lucky ones for not being able to eat here.

It’s a good place to eat. Not too crazy about parking situation. Need to scan QR code, fill in questions, then keep it open to show waitress so they can give you the code for free parking. 2hours was $23 and cents… smh… other than that it is good food. I recommend the chicken flautas.

Walked in and smelled like bleach, my server was attentive but couldn’t recommend something good so went for the chicken fajitas, What could be wrong? Skillet wasn’t hot, a bed of onions with some pieces of leftover fajita, like those small cuts left behind from previous orders. Server just came everything ok after I already ate most of my onions. Not very tasty either. Will not come back.

The plates looked good smelled good, taste not good. Paid 66 dollars for rice and beans because thats all we could try to eat just to be nice, even rice was crunchy but again our party of 5, 1 person ate more then 1 enchilada. Chips n salsa are great, people are super nice. Maybe ease up on the spices and sweetness in the food. Also was forced to tip, didn’t give me a option , who knows you might have gotten more but tip is a option.

The initial impression is that they are not very accommodating when it comes to certain items, and it feels like they are cutting corners. The tortilla soup, for instance, seemed more like a basic dish with just corn tortillas in a sauce, despite its rich and deep flavor. The tacos lacked toppings, which again gave the impression of trying to save costs. On a positive note, the tomatillo sauce had a delightful kick to it.
The atmosphere felt quite cramped, with tables packed closely together, creating a claustrophobic vibe. The bathrooms appeared to be in disrepair, and parking was nonexistent. However, I will acknowledge that it is conveniently located for a quick meal within walking distance, as long as you don’t have any special requests or need to make changes due to dietary needs or restrictions especially with a huge kid focused hospital nearby.
Suggestions: make it more accessible. Clean up the bathrooms.
And if it is authentic state it and say it will not be like traditional Tex-Mex.
And above all, be more accommodating to people who need restrictions instead of charging them more because of it.

It’s easy to find has its own parking and the service is super quick. Real Mexican food and some other stuff that I’ve never seen. I everything I’ve had here has been wonderful and the staff is great and attentive. They will definitely see me again
