This was our first time here, we were able to walk in and were quickly seated at a grill with one other couple. Our server was very prompt and friendly, he made sure everyone was taken care of, considering he was the only server besides the manager and cooks. For an appetizer, we had the pork goyza, which were steamed with a tasty sauce. The salad and soup were well portioned. One person in our party doesn’t eat onions, the chef was very accommodating of this and made separate piles. The steak hibachi was cooked perfectly as well as my spicy chicken hibachi. Overall, it was a tasty meal with plenty of leftovers.

It’s my first time at Benihana. We were 4 and we went on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. Food is good and Chef Henry was amazing. We had sushi and Hibachi steak, sea food, chicken and Tofu.

One year ago, I went to Benihana on my birthday, shortly after they changed from Genjis. It was a very disappointing experience. However, I decided to give them another chance this year. I was very pleasantly surprised. The portion of the side of shrimp I ordered was larger this time and tasted better. The filet was good both times. I had complained that last year the vegetable consisted of sauteed onions and one very small, thin slice of zucchini. They give you much more zucchini now. The yum yum sauce was thicker and better this year. Last year it was runny. The rice was a bit different than last year, but it tasted better this time. Last year, I didn’t get my $30 off birthday discount. This year, I had no problems. Everything tasted very good except the carrot ginger dressing. It used to be very good. Now it has a bite to it, kind of bitter. Overall, a huge improvement over last year.

Benihaha, Hard pass overpriced JOKE! Had to wait 2 1/2 hour when we had a reservation, my daughter ordered chicken teriyaki and they gave her just chicken without the sauce. They forgot my lobster and had to wait for that. The lady next to us ordered shrimp and she never even received it. It took 10 people to turn on the grill, literally, they did not even know that it was off, until an hour of us starving. Then they forget the vegetables, the cook, seriously told 5 people and then left and got them himself! Oh the veggies were, zucchini and onions!!! It was a comedy watching it! It took 1/2 and hour to get our drinks, so do not go there thirsty! Then the bill! Save your money go to Hokkaido!

This was our first time at Benihana’s in Saginaw. It was a slow night and we arrived around 4:45pm for an early dinner and we were treated like royalty. Wow! What a wonderful staff! The hostess was pleasant. Our server was pleasant. The manager was pleasant. And the lady that made our sushi was pleasant. This day and age, that is not always the case at restaurants. They made our night very special. Oh yeah, the food was good too! We had chicken hibachi and sushi. We highly recommend the Sumo Roll! Bon appetite.

Just an ordinary Saturday evening. A few friends invited us out Everything seemed normal upon arrival. Then it all happened. As I made my way to the restrooms a faint pungent odor seems to be emanating from the restrooms. As I entered my gag reflexes kicked in and the rest will go down in Benihana folklore.
This was definitely a health hazard. The fumes were so disgusting. To remedy the situation it seems they put some sort of cheap glade auto sprayer by the sink. This restaurant should be closed until they figure this out. Completely ruined my meal as you could imagine.

The chef and chef’s performance was really good. The chef cooked in front of us, and we could talk with the chef. Also, all foods were great overall.

My wife, cousin and I went to your restaurant yesterday for my Birthday. Got seated then after 5 minutes we were moved because grill was not working. Got a bit nervous when someone came and was trying to start broken grill manually. Then we’re met by “Brewski” he explained menu and took drink orders. The other 3 across were also celebrating a birthday. Took a while to get drinks and my wife was coughing and I asked a mgr for some water then the waters finally came at the same time. The Chef finally showed up after 20 minutes after we ate our soup/salad. He wasn’t very entertaining. Having been to Sagano’s in Flint,MI we were accustomed to a show, the onion steaming train and noodles & assorted veggies. I was surprised to only get grilled onions and a small portion of grilled zucchini. We were served each portion one at a time so items were cold by the time our main meal came. Entire meal took close to 1 1/2 hours and we never got our hot tea. They did give us a picture. Spent $177.00 with tip,VERY DISAPPOINTING drove from Flint won’t be back!!

I placed an order through door dash and paid $6.30 each for 2 onion soups. The soup had less than a cup worth of broth in it. I called to see if there was a mistake because over $6 for less than a cup what is essentially onion broth is outrageous. I got laughed at and hung up on over the phone.
