This was our first time here, we were able to walk in and were quickly seated at a grill with one other couple. Our server was very prompt and friendly, he made sure everyone was taken care of, considering he was the only server besides the manager and cooks. For an appetizer, we had the pork goyza, which were steamed with a tasty sauce. The salad and soup were well portioned. One person in our party doesn’t eat onions, the chef was very accommodating of this and made separate piles. The steak hibachi was cooked perfectly as well as my spicy chicken hibachi. Overall, it was a tasty meal with plenty of leftovers.

Just an ordinary Saturday evening. A few friends invited us out Everything seemed normal upon arrival. Then it all happened. As I made my way to the restrooms a faint pungent odor seems to be emanating from the restrooms. As I entered my gag reflexes kicked in and the rest will go down in Benihana folklore.

To cut straight to the point, the food was not good for the prices they charge here. My hibachi chicken was EXTREMELY bland. No sauce or flavoring, tasted like all they added was a little bit of pepper. The wait was kind of long for an empty dining room. The only vegetables you got were onions and zucchini. Didn’t get our soup. My salad came with nothing but lettuce and a single tomato, not to mention it was drowning in dressing. I can’t lie the yum yum sauce didn’t taste very authentic either. I am truly baffled at how you can mess up hibachi like this. I will not be going back. Way too expensive for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Definitely better places to go like blossoms or Hokkaido.

The food is amazing, especially when you are out with friends and able to enjoy your food. The cooks are entertaining and the servers are on point. This was my second time going, and I can’t wait for the next dinner there. The Emperor’s Feast (Filet and Chicken) is a 6 course meal, and you get a lot for your money. Definitely recommend for a nice date.

Server was missing in action. Had to ask for silverware, napkins and a clean table. I think the people before us had fried rice, there was enough on the table when we were seated we thought perhaps it was an appetizer. When we got the menus we were both taken back by the prices, I was hoping to retire this year but after the bill we got at Benihana I will need to continue working! Way over priced! We each had one sushi roll and a side of rice. The bill was $40. I’m providing a picture of the roll it is by far the smallest one I have ever had. Our rice came later…much later, much much later. When it was time to pay the bill we could not find our server. It wasn’t because the place was packed, we were the only ones there. Our lunch took 90 minutes. Why? I have had relationships that didn’t last this long. Then there was the smell…it was a combination of dirty urinal and air freshener. This place has gone downhill since Benihana took over. Save your money, retire as planned and eat somewhere where you get a decent meal at a decent price.

Benihaha, Hard pass overpriced JOKE! Had to wait 2 1/2 hour when we had a reservation, my daughter ordered chicken teriyaki and they gave her just chicken without the sauce. They forgot my lobster and had to wait for that. The lady next to us ordered shrimp and she never even received it. It took 10 people to turn on the grill, literally, they did not even know that it was off, until an hour of us starving. Then they forget the vegetables, the cook, seriously told 5 people and then left and got them himself! Oh the veggies were, zucchini and onions!!! It was a comedy watching it! It took 1/2 and hour to get our drinks, so do not go there thirsty! Then the bill! Save your money go to Hokkaido!

I placed an order through door dash and paid $6.30 each for 2 onion soups. The soup had less than a cup worth of broth in it. I called to see if there was a mistake because over $6 for less than a cup what is essentially onion broth is outrageous. I got laughed at and hung up on over the phone.

The remodel is nice, but I am not paying for the new carpet, or am I? Since they switched from Genji’s the prices went up by 50 percent and the portions decreased significantly. We did not sit at the grill, we sat at a table. The.temperature was FREEZING which wouldn’t be bad but after waiting 2 hours for two sushi rolls, the temperature became a problem. Service was poor. Had to ask for soy sauce, that took 30 minutes, no napkins, no hot sauce and the portions were so small we were shocked that they were charging so much for so little. Service and food aside, there is a horrible smell….I couldn’t make it out until I got to the restroom. It’s pee! The place smells like urine! So, between the horrible service, the outrageous prices, the temperature and the smell, we won’t be back. From the number of similar reviews, I will be surprised if this place will last.
