Bengaluru Cafe is very underrated and honestly such a great find. The chaat and dosa here are amazing and full of flavor. The bun butter congress took me straight back to Bangalore. That taste and nostalgia hit instantly.
The Bombay gobi was exactly Bengaluru style. Crispy, spicy and done just right. You can tell the staff is genuinely passionate about making good food and keeping the flavors authentic.
Moong dal masala and tiki puri are a must try. Everything feels freshly made and comforting. Their line “come hungry, go happy” actually makes sense because that’s exactly how you leave. If you’re craving real Bengaluru street food vibes, this place delivers.

Ordered delivery from here and was very satisfied with the food. The chutneys tasted authentic and fresh (the orange was particularly excellent) and the food was very well presented and packed especially for a delivery order. The portions of the food were good. I did pay $1.75 extra for a third container of sambar as they are pretty small, about 4 oz or so. But otherwise it had a great flavor and nice consistency. Overall super happy with discovering this place and will back to dine in!
Ghee podi idly: 10/10 delicious and spicy. This is the type of dish that has you levitating and thanking the chef for allowing you to experience its majesty. Good portion size, tasted excellent on its own and with sambar. I inhaled it in seconds
Samosa Masala: 7.5/10 a dry version of chat. Was well seasoned and assembled but next time I will probably stick with regular samosa chat for a more saucy dish
Chili onion dosa: 9/10 large shareable dosa with a good amount of filling. Chilis and onion gave it a nice kick without being too much. I loved that the dosa was soft and not too thick or thin and still retained crunchy parts!

This place is more of a take out spot, but they do have limited seating. The food was great! Very flavorful and delicious. Even though we a had a problem with one of our dishes, the staff was quick to fix the problem. The staff members are friendly and polite.

My favorite restaurant in nova at the moment, I found them a few months ago and have eaten there almost every weekend since then. Everything is cooked fresh, food is always consistent, place is clean, taste is just as good as what I had in Mumbai, better than any South Indian restaurant I’ve been to in this area. I can’t think of anything negative about their food so far, wishing them even more success and hoping their food continues to be great.

We absolutely loved this place. We ordered rava dosa, upma, idlis etc all r awesome. I did feel that the sambhar chutney servings were too small but if u request them they give u more. Food is absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Love the fact that its a vegetarian restaurant and gives a very home food vibe. Must visit if u r there. Will visit again if I am in Virginia.

Stumbled upon this place during my travels in Fairfax area. The place is very clean and open layout. The menu order system is well organized and simple to follow. The items are varied mostly authentic South Indian items but they do have sandwiches and chaats/paav bhaji etc. loved the rava dosa – made true to original recipe we get back home. Filter coffee was authentic and served really hot – loved just the taste. You can see their kitchen and where the food is prepared and it is clearly well cleaned and tidy. Staff was attentive and responsive and working really hard to keep the counters clean. Appears they are moving to new location closer to George Mason University – wish them the very best in their new endeavor. Love such no frills places it is all about the food and food they do a great job at making customer experience a happy one.

Great place and tasty food!
Tried the kaara bath combo, podi idly, onion masala dosa, and open benne dosa — all for around $45-50. The taste felt super authentic, and the kaara bath combo is my personal favorite. The place has a calm vibe with a few outdoor tables too.
Only thing — portions could be a bit better. Overall, a really good experience and would totally come back.

Sir was very kind to prepare Masala Puri for us though it wasn’t on the menu. We ordered Mysore Masala and Sagu Masala dosa too and everything was delicious. Don’t know why and where these negative reviews are for! The food is truly good, quantity is sufficient and the owner is really friendly. For Bangaloreans, it instantly hits the right spots and reminds them of home !

This food was fantastic! I ordered delivery for the first time and it was better than I could hope! I haven’t really had South Indian food in years and this is exactly as I remember at the best places in New York! The dosas are delicious, the sauces the perfect balance, and the lemon rice was a fun attraction for my toddler. I’ll be back with her in person soon enough!
