Really excellent Indian food, at a good price. The onion bajis were crisp and delicious, the lamb dhansak was very good and the goat curry (on the bone) was absolutely outstanding.
Highly recommended…I’ll be back.

This is a very nice restaurant for Indian food. My daughter and I walked over to this place in the Roosevelt area. The interior is very pleasant, the service is no-frills and straightforward. The owner stopped by for a very friendly and engaging conversation. The food was very good and we left with a very pleasant feeling. One of those places where the overall experience is greater than the sum of the parts and contributes positively to family bonding!! Thank you Bengal Tiger!

I have been eating at Bengal Tiger for years. The food is wonderful and the family who owns the restaurant is lovely. The new Sunday night buffet is fabulous: a variety of popular and traditional dishes. Highly recommended.

We visited Bengal Tiger Indian Restaurant on a Thursday night, a couple of hours before closing, and the place was completely empty — which actually made for a calm, quiet dining experience. We ordered the samosa, butter lamb, and garlic naan, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The samosa was golden, crispy, and filled with a perfectly spiced potato mixture. The butter lamb was rich, tender, and bursting with flavor, with just the right amount of heat for spice lovers. The garlic naan came out fresh, warm, and aromatic — perfect for soaking up that incredible curry sauce.

The restaurant itself was spotless and well-kept, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It’s clear they take pride in their kitchen and the quality of their food. The only downside was the service, it wasn’t rude, but it felt disengaged, as if the server was going through the motions without much effort to connect or make the experience memorable.
That being said, Bengal Tiger Indian Restaurant delivers on flavor and cleanliness, and the food alone makes it worth the visit. If the service matched the quality of the dishes, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Very sweet place in terms of hosting. Although it says it is an Indian place, the owner is Bangladeshi. And they have a Bangladeshi Menu as well. Which is super rare. The ambience of place is above average for an Indian restaurant.

The place is open till 11 at night which worked great for my evening. I talked with the server about the restaurant and this place is unique in so many ways.

First of all let me tell you that the food is good. The saag paneer was amazing, panner pakoras were very good. The Malai Kofta was a little underwhelming – but we asked them to make it with absolutely no spice whatsoever and they did.

Now coming to why this is unique:
– Probably the only place with the Bangladeshi Menu.
– They have Goat (Kachi) Briyani. By Goat they mean goat and not Lamb.
– Every lunch hours, they have a buffet.
– Every last Sunday of month, they have dinner buffet

We came across this restaurant while passing by and decided to stop for lunch. The lunch buffet was a great value, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cost.

The buffet runs from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, but many dishes were empty after 12:30 PM and weren’t refilled promptly. Some dishes were excellent like chicken tikka, samosa, salad, naan and rice while others were average like butter chicken and vegetables curries. However, the complimentary tea was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. So, there is room for improvement in quality and service.

I recommend trying the lunch buffet, but make sure to arrive at the start.

Great experience ordering from here! The ghee roast and biryani lived up to the mark. Additionally, they were kind enough to wait for me since I was running late to pickup my order. Great hospitality!

I ate here for dinner with some friends and had an INCREDIBLE experience. The food was top notch, very high-quality & tasty. The employees were super nice and friendly. I’ve lived in Seattle for 4 years and this has to be one of the best local Indian restaurants I’ve been to. 10/10 would recommend, I will be going back!

Takeout review: Food was not even prepared when I arrived at the time it said to pickup. Like not even begin to be cooked! I had to wait 20 minutes. Everyone else’s orders were ready when they came in… The soup was $7 and barely any in a small plastic container. I had ordered brown rice & paid for it. Only to be told there was NO brown rice & I didn’t get any. I want my $5 for it BACK. ALSO, the checkout should NOT automatically ADD 20% tip onto the bill… NOT for takeout… I’m done w Bengal…

Dine in: It can be really hit or miss. The owners son was super weird about letting us sit at a bigger table when the restaurant was EMPTY.
He basically said NO. And when I said…really? There is no one here…he relented. Food is usually good, but sometimes it’s like the chef is gone & its someone else cooking – very bland.

I’ll just go to Taste of India from now on.
