We booked a table for 2 last minute for a curry we haven’t had in ages. So glad we chose Bengal Lounge as we haven’t tried here before. Food was great. We had chicken tikka Korai & chicken tikka Madras with mushroom rice and 2 naans. Couldn’t fault the food we had, really enjoyed it. We were also surprised at the range of vegetarian and vegan options as we have relatives we can now bring too! The staff were friendly and attentive also. We will be visiting again soon ☺️. Thanks!

Had a number of takeaways from the Bengal Lounge, they have always been very good. Very disappointed tonight, the delivery took 1.5 hours (normally 1 hour) the food tasted like it came from a different restaurant, like it was churned out in a rush and no care taken. All dishes had a layer of ghee covering them, the Tarka Dahl was probably the worst we have ever tasted. Very poor. Shame as they are normally good.

Hadn’t booked but as there was only 2 of us, we got a table no problem. Food was gorgeous and the service good, couldn’t fault a thing! A real bonus that you can take in your own alcohol, there is a shop near by to grab this from. Will definitely use again.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Bengal Lounge while celebrating my wife’s birthday.
From the moment we arrived, the staff provided excellent customer service they were friendly, attentive, and especially patient with my indecisive children, which made the meal stress-free and enjoyable.
The food was outstanding, great taste, generous portions, and beautifully presented dishes that showed real care in preparation. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations.
This Bengal Lounge made our celebration feel special, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Food was absolutely outstanding fresh as anything!!! Beautiful food…restaurant itself could do with a makeover tbh realy good location hosts were so friendly although portions are small and tad expensive… overall yes I would visit again …thanks for your hospitality great restaurant

My dinner party of 22 enjoyed a great Thursday evening at the Bengal Lounge. The private function room upstairs catered to all our needs. We were served popadums with mint yoghurt, mango chutney and chilli as the waiter took our orders. I had a mixed kebab as a starter and my main course was lamb shah (lamb shank) served with a garlic and corriander naan. I was pleasantly astonished when the lamb shank arrived because it was absolutely enormous. Cooked to perfection in mild tomato based curry sauce the tender meat just fell off the bone. Lamb is my favourite meat and I don’t get to eat it very often in Japan so I was extremely satisfied with my dinner. The menu has a huge variety of starters, specialities and sides for all tastes including vegetarian.

I had a wonderful meal here and couldn’t leave without a doggy bag. The food is fresh and tasty. One of the best Indian restaurant’s I’ve eaten in. Staff so polite and made me feel like a princess.
