Authentic Chef prepared Italian food. Generous portions and reasonable prices make this place a good value as well. I look forward to returning soon to sample more culinary delights! So if you’re going to the new Palo Pinto State Park this is a good choice for good eats and only minutes away.

Very comfortable setting with excellent service. I’ll definitely return to try other menu items. Would not recommend the spaghetti in tomato juice. (Too bland )

After hearing about this restaurant on a Texas exploration website, I was let down by the actual food somewhat. Though adequate, the food was simple and seemed to use low-fat mozzarella cheese. However, the service was sharp and the restaurant itself is delightful. I would recommend eating here to those looking for more of a homemade atmosphere, but not those looking for authentic Italian.

Long awaited 2d visit. Made same day reservations via Google assistant prior to 5pm opening. Notified in timely manner on reservation acceptance. Later noticed that Beneventi’s website conveniently offers same Google service. Very efficient & time-saving way to take advantage of available technology. Previewed picture menu & was attracted by the crab cakes (appetizer) & shrimp scampi. Immediately seated upon arrival. Lucky me; the crab cake was the special & a full entree. Linda ordered the beef tenderloin with polenta. Cauliflower soup excellent flavor, texture & temperature. Salad with vinaigrette was refreshing. Was not disappointed with the crab cake, loved it & the sauce (don’t know what it was) which complimented the crab. The pasta was cooked perfectly, firm; spinach was a plus. Wife was disappointed; polenta not hot. Told waitress later & she was very concerned & apologetic. Cheesecake is a complimentary dessert. However, they ran out of cheesecake. Waitress offered other desserts on menu (free). Linda had buttermilk pie; I had chocolate fudge cake with cream. I am not a fudge cake fan; but, this was moist & awakened my chocolate cake taste buds. They comp’d Linda’s sides. Beneventi’s truly aims to please. Mary Beth ? Operates an attached shop. Top notch selected women’s & men’s apparel. Hard to believe that we have such exquisite cuisine out here in the middle of nowhere. WHAT A TREASURE!!

I’m Italian, and I love Italian food… especially when it’s authentic family recipes, cooked and served by real Italians! Beneventi’s is simply amazing because they are operating out of their original family store from 1906, that’s 116 years and counting…
Pork belly burnt ends and gnocchi tots were the most delectable appetizers I have ever teased my taste buds (no kidding). Osso Buco pork shank was the most tender piece of meat to have melted in my mouth (sorry TX BBQ). The portions were huge, and we all took leftovers. I thought they undercharged us, as the prices are very reasonable. It’s a trip back in time, like stepping into an Italian museum, with real pictures and memorabilia from Italy.
My whole family LOVES this place, and we will be back! You need to go too!

I took my great grandmother here for her 90th birthday and gave this place a shot. The decore was very nice and relaxing kinda like being in a fancy home. Not many people were there so it was nice to pick where we sat and the waitress was very kind and attentive. The bread she brought out tasted really nice and looked good as well. We ordered chicken Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken Alfredo tasted good and chicken tasted the same as the chicken in the parmigiana. The parmigiana was great nice spegetti with tasty chicken. For a small town Italian place it was really good. This is a nice little stop if you are passing through. They had some other amazing options on the menu so I’ll be back to try those.

A must stop that checks every box:
1) Historic building renovated with love inside and out, mix of small and communal tables that made for a warm impression as soon as the door swung open. Decor traces the roots of the Italian family behind the property to their arrival at Ellis Island and history of the grocery that inhabited the building.
2) Incredible staff, full of smiles and radiating a rightful pride of place.
3) Community involvement permeating the experience.
4) Affordable daily specials
5) FANTASTIC food.
6) Anything else you’d want in a charming rural restaurant, Beneventi’s has it.

We’ve been wanting to visit this spot for some time and had the opportunity today.

For starters, the service was outstanding. The food matched the service and was very delish! Prices were very reasonable, especially for the large amounts served.

I made a mistake, while making my payment, and inadvertantly gave the waitress a VERY nice tip. I spoke with Janet, the owner, who ensured me she’d take care of the error. Less than an hour later, Janet called me and confirmed the issue was resolved. In my opinion, this was going above and beyond.

I’d highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes Italian food and great service!

I first heard of this beautiful place because of Texas bucket list…the story and purpose is heartwarming. That was a plus! Then i saw it was close to where we live! So I decided we were going to give it a try. Well today was the day! We both were so hungry and coming back home so i got to thinking let me see if they are open and to my happiness they were! hoping Google wasn’t wrong we took the exit and once we arrived we saw the open sign.

What topped it off is that we were greeted by the owner and the staff. All super friendly and sweet. The menu was perfect enough options to choose from without feeling overwhelmed .
We settled for the spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna, had the house salad .
The portions were just right.
When we took that first bite oh men . So yummy!!! All my mom could say wow. That’s good !!! Over and over .
The experience was wonderful and the food amazing, the cause makes it even more special. We will come back again . It just goes to show that u find hidden gems in small towns.

If you get a chance to speak to the owner
You will leave motivated but also reaffirmed that there are still good people out in the world working hard to do good within the community.
