So, the menu looks really good and the service and space are really great. The food is almost there, but falls just a bit short. I had the hot fried chicken Benedict – chicken was good, biscuit was ok but there was not a lot of hot, hollandaise was skimpy, poached eggs were too done. Since the eggs weren’t runny it ate really dry. Given their main menu item is Benedicts their egg poaching should be spot on. My husband had the smoked country fried pork chop – pork chop was good and smoky and the hash browns were good but the gravy was not thick enough, the sausage tasted almost mushy I don’t know how to describe it. Everything could have used a big dash of seasoning and salt, it was missing flavor. We’ll go back for a second go around, maybe it was just an off morning today.

Both of our meals were of top notch quality and to cap it off, their Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had in awhile – I especially liked the dill vodka & ham/cream cheese/asparagus garnish. It’s a little pricey but worth it for the quality. Recommend going during non-peak times, as they don’t take reservations and the line can be lengthy.

Was my first time here and couldn’t’ve asked for a better birthday breakfast experience. The food was delicious and served faster than expected, the atmosphere was bright and lively, and service was very friendly and accommodating. I especially love the option for keto hash, which was a tasty, crispy blend of cabbage and egg. The monkey bread they provided was divine, half doused in caramel which tasted house-made, and half in cream cheese glaze. I highly recommend the caprese benedict, finding it to be healthy yet hearty. The atmosphere was really memorable. The warm wooden interiors, bright colors accents, and modern decor really stood out. Great place for breakfast with friends and family. There is a lot of space and light, yet the booths offer privacy and a feeling of coziness. I will say, expect it to be pretty busy on a weekend morning; our wait was 40 minutes for a party of 4 after arriving at 9:30am on a Saturday. They don’t take reservations. I think we would’ve beaten the big rush if we arrived at 8:30 or 9. It was okay though as we just walked around the surrounding bay area. I hope to be back soon to try more of their menu. Thanks Benedict’s!

Food was good (California Benedict with salad, salad was surprisingly good!). Price was a little steep but not outrageous. Building is beautiful, like a modern version of a classic diner. Service was noticeably slow (takes a lot for me to complain about service!), especially for a Monday lunch. But I will go back!

My friends and I had brunch together on a weekday. The wait was only 20 minutes and the staff were friendly. Despite being busy, our waiter checked in with us constantly.

This is my first time here and I was excited to try it because it looked wonderful from the pics and reviews I’d read. We went around 1:30 on a weekday so it was their slow time. Place looked clean and I liked the ambiance. Waiter was “ok”. Not good or bad. He ticked all the boxes other than checking back to see how things were which he did not do but nothing beyond that. Pancakes were cold. Fries were under seasoned. Breakfast burrito with American fries was so under seasoned it reminded me of something a hospital would serve so as not to offend anyone with health problems. All in all, very disappointed.

Midwest keeps surprising me with their amazing food. Yes, eggs Benedict’s – what can be surprising about that, you’d think? But this one was delicious. Try lox Benedict. Even pancakes are amazing.

Everyone has done a great job talking about the pros of this restaurant, which are abundant. There’s not much more I could add. I got the Cuban Benedict and it blew my mind.

Not impressed. The service was extremely slow. Our drinks took over 30 mins to be delivered after ordering them. Do not order the bootlegger. It is just a vodka lemonade. The chorizo Benedict was fair. Almost no hollandaise sauce and the eggs we slightly over cooked. I had asked for the hashbrowns to be crispy, but they were not. There was a decent amount of meat.
